Goddamn there's alot to take into account when buying a new game these days. Is it monetized to hell, is it buggy, will they flip a switch for ingame shop after review period, did they used woke consultant firm, etc. Imma bookmark that curator page even tho I'm a console only guy

If you go with Tekken, don't go online right away. Stick with practice mode and ai for a month, maybe sprinkle a bit of online matches here and there. Practice execution heavy moves and combos, train muscle memory. One thing doing moves on a training dummy vs a live person

Yeah. I was replaying Tenchu Wrath of Heaven on real hardware and they really wanted you to work for that grandmaster rank. No quicksave, no in mission retry, hell, no quit mission at all. So you either trudge through the level already spotted then try again, or spend an hour or 2 to perfect a level observing each enemy, or do a console reset. I mean I'm a patient man when it comes to stealth games, but I'm not that patient to lose an entire run when I fumble a section and have to repeat 30+ minutes of work. If you play any Tenchu game and plans to grandmaster all levels, do it in an emulator

Android not only has customisation and 3rd party apps, it also has modded apps for most popular services like YouTube, Twitch, video streaming (Netflix but not Netflix), music streaming (Spotify). Mods that include ad blocking, bg playback etc. For free, if you know where to look

What you should hate more is the existence of season pass. Yeah development is hard and expensive but is it tho? We've got solo and groups of people making compelling games (Valheim, Palworld, Stardew Valley), then we got true, complete aaa experience like BG3 and Elden Ring.
