"Get the man out of here," the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said the homeowners told the good Samaritan. "Have him die somewhere else." The agency recounted the "very sad moment" in a post on its Facebook page Thursday. According to the sheriff's office, the lawn worker, identified in the post as Tony, was walking to work on Monday when he saw the driver having a seizure in his car. He ran toward the moving vehicle on Dunes Road and grabbed the car's fender in an attempt to stop it from rolling farther down the street, officials said. The car finally stopped in the homeowners' yard. The convulsing driver was "in terrible shape" when Tony got to him, according to the sheriff's office. The car's windows were up and the doors locked, so Tony started screaming and begging for someone to help, authorities said. That is when the homeowners told him to "get off our lawn," according to the Facebook post. Tony recognized the driver, remembered he lived nearby and ran down the street to the man's house, where he was able to reach the driver's wife and call 911. "Because of Tonys actions, we received a call yesterday from the man he helped," officials said in the post. "The man called us to ask for Tonys phone number. The man said, 'I want to talk to Tony.. He saved my life.'" That meeting occurred on Wednesday. "The grateful man and his wife went and found Tony, and gave him a hug," the sheriff's office said. . . . Pricks --- |

Wed just grab a car magazine or Guns N Ammo or whatever and pretend were reading it, while unbeknownst to the worker we reached over and snagged whatever porn mag we laid our hands on first and put that INSIDE the ordinary magazine and perused away Then after, probably left with a Goosebumps book EDIT: Also a good show to watch is Daves Old Porn with Dave Attell, "the Mystery Science Theater of porn" --- |

I work Mon-Thurs(40-50hrs though) and have every Fri/Sat/Sun offthat why I got the 1st today and the 2nd scheduled for Friday the 13th in August, at the earliest possible appointment(1:20pm) Tried to give myself as much recovery time as possible in case anything happens, so Ill be good to go the following Monday --- |

Total non-judgmental post (I don't plan on getting it myself) but I'd assume a lot of people getting it this late feel they need to or for whatever reason haven't yet. -Did my research -Waited for the hype to die down cause some people I know that were getting it as soon as it came out had to drive an hour away to get it because it was so overwhelmed in my area -Mostly just life/work getting in the way, trying to find the right weekend to do it --- |

Despite being one of DC's most recognizable characters, Warner Bros. has not figured out how they want to use Superman on the big screen moving forward. Henry Cavill's days of playing Kal-El might be behind him, and all indications pointed to J.J. Abrams being the one to help reinvent Superman for the modern age. The thought of a new live-action Superman prompted plenty of discussions about what WB and DC should do differently. One suggestion that gained a lot of support was the idea of an actor of color playing Superman next. Abrams and the studios appeared to hear this with reports surfacing that the rumored Superman reboot will see a Black actor play Clark Kent. This led to plenty of fan-castings for Michael B. Jordan to play the Kryptonian hero next. He's discussed Superman projects with WB and DC in the past, but now it appears he is making his own. According to a report from Collider, Michael B. Jordan's production company Outlier Society is developing a new Superman project for HBO Max. A script is reportedly already being written by an unknown writer, and it focuses on the Val-Zod version of Superman. Jordan's Black Superman project will reportedly be a limited series for Warner Bros.' streaming service. Jordan reportedly is only attached to produce at this stage, as he has not decided if he'll be the one to play Val-Zod. Developing. --- |

Akamai, a content distribution network, or CDN, which helps data move around the internet, said on its website its investigating an emerging issue with the Edge DNS service. The company said it expects to provide an update on its service disruption around 1 p.m. Eastern Time. Oracle, a cloud service provider, said Thursday afternoon it is monitoring a global issue related to Akamai edge DNS that is impacting access to many internet resources, including Oracle cloud properties. Oracle said resources within its cloud service are not impacted by the incident. Delta Air Lines, British Airways, Capital One, Go Daddy, Vanguard, UPS, LastPass, AT&T and Costco were among the websites loading slowly or showing DNS failure. Some of the outages appear localized, meaning some users may be able to access the sites while others cannot. The Delta outage means customers cant check in for flights or look up fares online, but the company said customers can check in with a Delta agent at the airport. Were experiencing temporary technical issues serving our customers on delta.com and the Fly Delta mobile app, said a message on Deltas website. Fritz has not appeared on an episode of the antiquing show since March 2020. A combination of back surgery and the pandemic can help explain some of Franks absence from the popular History show but not all of it. I havent talked to Mike in two years. He knew my back was messed up, but he didnt call me up and ask how I was doing, Fritz told The Sun earlier this week. Thats just how it is. The show is tilted towards [Mike] 1,000 percent, Fritz added. Thats fine. Its like youve got Aerosmith and theres Steven Tyler and hes the front man.
