Besides the differences in case looks(and a art book you get with Y6), are you getting the same thing game-wise?

As in, there isn't any additional content/DLC with the steelbook versions that you wouldn't get with the regular blue case version, right?

Currently buying all the Yakuza's before the remastered collection comes out next year

On Amazon Yakuza Kiwami 2 steelbook and standard case going for $15
While Yakuza 6 steelbook edition is $15 but standard edition is $25

https://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/music/brian-mccollum/2019/11/22/garth-brooks-ford-field-attendance-record/4271616002/

Fans gobbled up Garth Brooks tickets in about 90 minutes Friday morning and gave the country star a Ford Field record in the process.

More than 70,000 concertgoers will be on hand for the Feb. 22 show, Brooks' publicist announced this afternoon. It's an all-time mark for a single concert at the Detroit Lions' stadium.

Brooks is aided by his in-the-round configuration, which will position his stage at center field rather than at one end of the stadium, as with most Ford Field concerts. That means additional floor seating and sightlines around the venue.

The typical maximum attendance for sold-out Ford Field shows is about 50,000.

Standard football capacity is about 65,000, which can be expanded by several thousand when needed as with the 2006 Super Bowl.

Ford Field's attendance record for any single event stands at 80,103, for Wrestlemania 23 in 2007, a venue representative confirmed.

Other heavyweight performers in Ford Field's 17-year history have included the Rolling Stones, Eminem, U2, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi.

Brooks' tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. The February Ford Field show is his first Detroit performance since 2015, when he played six sold-out nights at Joe Louis Arena. He was back in Michigan a year later, doing another six sellouts at Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena.

Was semi-interested in going but decided not to. Luckily my bro/sis-in-law got tickets so good for them

LANSING, MI (WILX) -- Capital Area Ingham County Alerts sent out a notification that "all trains nation-wide have been stopped for an undetermined amount of time."

The alert said specific crossings that are blocked in our area are Hagadorn/Service in East Lansing and Marsh/Haslett in Meridian Township.

News 10 reached out to East Lansing Police Chief Steve Gonzalez regarding the issue.

"I don't know if it's a system failure or what, but it seems pretty large-scale," Gonzalez said.

He said he is not aware of any injuries or accidents that would case a train to stop here locally.

https://people.com/movies/elizabeth-banks-faces-backlash-for-saying-wonder-woman-and-captain-marvel-belong-to-male-genre/

Elizabeth Banks has stirred up some controversy over recent comments about moviegoer preferences.

The actress, who also serves as writer, director and producer on the just-released Charlies Angels reboot, gave some quotes to the Herald Sun recently that have sparked backlash on social media.

Speaking of her movie before it opened, Banks said that Charlies Angels had to perform well at the box office, otherwise it would further harm future female-led films. Since the interviews publication, the movie went on to make a disappointing $8.6 million on opening weekend in North America.

Look, people have to buy tickets to this movie, too. This movie has to make money, Banks, 45, said. If this movie doesnt make money it reinforces a stereotype in Hollywood that men dont go see women do action movies.

But while some would point to the success of recent female-led action movies like Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman, Banks said those dont necessarily count since theyre part of bigger cinematic universes that are led by male actors.

Theyll go and see a comic book movie with Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel because thats a male genre, Banks said. So even though those are movies about women, they put them in the context of feeding the larger comic book world, so its all about, yes, youre watching a Wonder Woman movie but were setting up three other characters or were setting up Justice League.

By the way, Im happy for those characters to have box office success, Banks added, but we need more womens voices supported with money because thats the power. The power is in the money.

Banks comments were not received well by some on social media, with people on Twitter saying that her movie just didnt look good.

Elizabeth Banks does know that women didnt want to see her Charlies Angels movie either, right? I get it, Hollywood and the world really, is frustrating and sexist as heck but she should just face facts. As tough as it is, her movie just didnt look appealing to people, a Twitter user wrote.

Elizabeth Banks is so talented but she is saying such idiotic things. Charlies Angels will flop not because men dont want to see it but because the marketing is so f- atrocious NOBODY wants to see it, another echoed.

Still, others jumped to Banks defense and backed up her comments, agreeing that the superhero genre gave Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman a leg up that Charlies Angels didnt have.

[Clowns] twisting Liz Banks words by mentioning WonderWoman&CaptainMarvel as successful female lead action films are dumb, both of these films from either DC or Marvel which are destined to make BILLIONS bc of the same fanboys who claimed CharliesAngels is bad without even seeing it, one user wrote.

Elizabeth banks didnt lie when she classified these films as male genre because none of these had a fully female driven cast, whereas Charlies Angels had that and was more about female friendships and women at work without necessarily having any superpowers, the user added in a follow-up tweet.

The actress later addressed Charlies Angels lack of performance at the box office with a self-deprecating joke on Twitter.

Well, if youre going to have a flop, make sure your name is on it at least 4x. Im proud of #CharliesAngels and happy its in the world, she tweeted, referencing her roles as actress, writer, producer and director.

Maybe the movie sucked and was marketed horribly, might be a reason why it bombed. Kinda simple

Also, found this on Reddit......

TL;DR: retailers don't know exact inventory when preorder links go live. A lot of us are going to be disappointed.

Now I want to clear up some things about preorders, especially as it pertains to video games like this, because after reading some of the comments in other threads it looks like some people may be in the dark as to how this works. Please also note that this should not be read as dogma; some of this I'm 100% sure about, other stuff are conclusions I've drawn given logic and evidence/past experience.

When preorders go live, retailers like Best Buy, Gamestop, Target, Walmart, most likely also Amazon etc., do not know how much actual physical stock of an item they will receive by release date. Often times they oversell. For every hyped up release where preorders are available, people get screwed. They oversell preorders and no one is able to figure it out until it comes time for the order to be fulfilled and the fulfillment centers do not receive the amount of the product that the retailer expected. My conclusion (again I am not 100% but it makes sense to me): people that placed their orders earlier are more likely to receive their orders. At some point, the stock doesn't exist anymore, and the next person on the descending list of "order time" (and every person after them) is either not charged or refunded and then notified "we're sorry for the inconvenience, but please go fuck yourself... etc."

I fall into the category of risky orders. I did not have the money when preorders went live in May, and I set up alerts on nowinstock.net to tell me when the CE was in stock. In-stock alerts, in my mind, could be triggered by at least 2 things: a glitch or anomaly in the online inventory system when it resets/conducts regular maintenance, or someone actually cancelled an order and there will actually be stock available. Even then, it may just go to the next person on the list mentioned above, who knows? (Maybe someone more knowledgeable in e-commerce than I am can clear some of my assumptions up.) Long story not-so-short, I cancelled a Walmart order because I figured an Amazon preorder would be more reliable, given that Amazon is strictly e-commerce. Now I'm questioning that decision, although it probably would not have mattered. My order was placed on Saturday, my card has been charged, it still has not shipped, however there is an Amazon warehouse locally so maybe it just ships tomorrow. Guess we will see.

Edit: u/kevsmith6262 confirmed that Amazon does function with a "who ordered when" list, and also noted that the Amazon rep advised not to change anything about your order (payment, probably shipping address even, basically anything), because that will drop you to the bottom of the queue.

TopicChina imposes gaming curfew for minors

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-50315960

China is imposing a curfew on online gaming for minors, the government has announced.

Gamers under 18 will be banned from playing online between 22:00 and 08:00. They will also be restricted to 90 minutes of gaming on weekdays and three hours on weekends and holidays.

Its part of China's latest move to curb video game addiction, which officials say is damaging to children's health.

China is one of the world's largest gaming markets.

The official government guidelines - released on Tuesday - include spending limits for minors.

Gamers eight to 16 years old can spend up to 200 yuan (22, $29) per month, while those between 16 and 18 years can spend up to 400 yuan on their gaming accounts.

China is the second-largest gaming market in the world, with US global revenue surpassing China for the first time this year due to China's increased regulations on the industry, according to research firm Newzoo.

China has repeatedly criticised video games for negatively affecting young people.

In 2018, the government announced the establishment of a gaming regulator - in response to concerns about near-sightedness in children - to limit the number of new online games, restrict paying time and develop an age-restriction system.

The same year, China enacted a halt on approvals for new video games, which lasted nine months, dealing a significant blow to the lucrative industry.

Some of the largest video game companies responded proactively, but enforcement and reliable age verification have been major concerns.

Tencent - the world's largest gaming company - addressed criticism by limiting game time to one hour per day for users under 12 and to two hours per day for users between 12 and 18. They also started requiring users to prove their age and identity against available state records.

But the new guidelines will apply universally to all online gaming platforms operating in China and will address enforcement concerns directly.

The administration will work with law enforcement to construct a unified identification system that gaming platforms can use to verify a user's identity and age with government data, a spokesman told state-run Xinhua news agency.

Last year, the World Health Organization listed gaming addiction - which they call "gaming disorder" - as a mental health condition for the first time.

The most recent American Psychiatry Association manual of mental disorders does not officially recognise it, instead listing internet gaming disorder as a condition for further study.

But some countries have identified excessive gaming as a major public health issue, and many have private addiction clinics to treat the condition.

I've heard good things about Gerald's Game and I like almost anything directed by Mike Flanagan. This includes Hush.
The Witch is a fantastic American dark folktale.
Train to Busan is a fine Korean zombie movie.
Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is a wonderful comedy.

They need new stuff, but to be fair... Horror is a genre mostly filled with shit.
