Why is Franklin in Charlie Brown Thanksgiving sitting all by himself at the table. Man. Things that I did not notice as a child, @Asharp52 blasted on Twitter. Others said good grief over a seating chart that would have thrilled George Wallace. Not watching Charlie Brown Thanksgiving anymore, until they sit some people on the same side of the table as Franklin, another critic tweeted, along with two black power-style fist emojis. The scene in question centers on an impromptu holiday feast of toast, jelly beans and ice cream in Charlie Browns backyard. At one point, poor lonesome Franklin topples over in his half-broken chair. They give our friend the busted chair and wont even sit on the same side of the table, more proof that Charlie Brown and his cohorts are RACIST, slammed Twitter user @mwizzy128. But others defended the classic special, pointing out its creator Charles Schulz fought to add Franklin to the cast to stand up against racism in 1968. Seriously please get some historical context. Charles M. Schultz was a trailblazer and bucked racism in those days by adding Franklin to reflect the issue and challenging what was then going on in society, tweeted California radio show host Mark Larson. . . .  --- |

When written well by great creators such as Stan Lee, they make us feel, make us think and teach us lessons that hopefully make us better human beings. One lesson Stan taught so many of us was tolerance and respect, and thanks to that message, we are grateful that we can say you have a right to your opinion that comics are childish and unsophisticated. Many said the same about Dickens, Steinbeck, Melville and even Shakespeare. But to say that Stan merely inspired people to watch a movie is in our opinion frankly disgusting. Countless people can attest to how Stan inspired them to read, taught them that the world is not made up of absolutes, that heroes can have flaws and even villains can show humanity within their souls. He gave us the X-Men, Black Panther, Spider-Man and many other heroes and stories that offered hope to those who felt different and bullied while inspiring countless to be creative and dream of great things to come. These are but a few of the things we the fans of Stan Lee also consider adulting, because life both as a child and grown-up can indeed be a struggle. Stan is the author of millions of happy childhood memories and the provider of so many of the positive tools of adulthood. Austin said Thursday on his Steve Austin Show podcast that he is sticking to a new healthy diet and he hasnt had a drop of alcohol in two weeks. My eating program is going fantastic. [Im] sticking to my exact macros. [Ive had] zero alcohol for right at 14 days now, Austin said. Pounds are coming off. My strength is going up. Jesus Christ, Im getting as strong as a god damn horse over here. Austin also revealed hes been doing Diamond Dallas Pages yoga program and is seeing benefits. No alcohol, and when you hit the weights on a consistent basis and eat what youre supposed to, it is amazing the difference that you can make or Im making, Austin said. Austin said once he kicked the beer habit, he tried to smoke medical marijuana. He admitted that dope was never my thing in the past. He told a story about how he and his wife drove from California to Texas and ended up at a police checkpoint. Austin said it made him paranoid. Im thinking, man, here I am, retired from the wrestling business, a global icon and a national treasure, and Im about to get busted for fucking one joint because I wanted to try out a god damn marijuana cigarette, so I could get away from the booze, Austin said. The 21-year-old male victim was struck in the abdomen, chest and leg. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital in stable condition. The 17-year-old female victim was hit in the abdomen and taken to NY Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition. There was a verbal dispute prior to the shooting at 2 a.m. in front of 610 West 163rd St., according to police. The gunman fled the scene. He is described by cops as 6 feet tall and wearing a green hooded sweatshirt. The mask was similar to the one worn by the character 'Michael Myers' in the 'Halloween' slasher movies. --- |

Sources at the USP Hazelton prison in West Virginia tell TMZ, Bulger was killed in his cell at around 6 AM Tuesday, NOT in a common area as first reported. We're told 4 inmates walked into the cell where Whitey was sitting in his wheelchair. They brutally beat him with a lock in a sock and used a shiv to try and gouge his eyes out. They also attempted to cut out his tongue. We're told there was a lot of blood in Bulger's mouth but we don't know if the tongue was actually removed. We're told surveillance cameras captured the 4 inmates walking into Bulger's cell and walking out with their clothes clearly bloodied. The attack was not caught on video. We're told the killers went back to their cells, changed out of their bloody clothes and then walked back to Bulger's cell with a mop and a bucket to clean up the mess. As for the motive ... our prison sources say prison officials believe it was mob retaliation because Bulger was considered a rat and an informant who helped put away several members of the mob. The officials believe the mob put out a hit on Bulger and removal of the eyes and tongue are signs of such a hit. --- |
