Grinding in a video game is not a great thing, but it can be fine. The problem comes when you introduce this logic of "Pay us a little extra and save hours of your time." That is exactly what this is. You can have a chore of a grind for sure, but when the "skip grind DLC" exists, it becomes obvious that the only reason that this boring unfun gameplay decision exists is so they can make more money off of a full priced game by offering abso-fucking-lutely nothing of any sort of substance or enjoyment in return.

The only thing more pathetic than these corporate dick heads who think this is okay are the consumers getting fucked in the ass and thanking Ubisoft for not using lube or wearing a rubber.

Well if grinding sucks then you can pay $10

OR

if grinding sucks, then dont grind and just play the game and finish it. Do you really need to spend months leveling up a character in a video game?

They're not complaining that it takes a long time. They are complaining that it's intentionally designed to take a frustratingly long time to try and force you into a purchase.
