I don't recall this being correct. I believe without junctions, some monsters would actually outpace the character growths. Junctions just made your characters busted that it didn't matter.

no ur right, you have basically 0 in all stats without junctions; the rate at which the game will give you access to new tiers and spells, tho, is always going to outpace the enemies.

let us also not forget that FF8 lets you turn off random encounters if you want. just 100% turn those off.

basically all enemies have linear progressions but your stats are exponential so you always outpace the monsters.

ironically, it's one of the only times that "monsters getting stronger with you" was done well. its every other game (bethesda) that fucks it up.

overly-sexualizing bisexuality because it makes you uncomfortable. straight ppl and gay people get to proudly talk about their partners, but when bisexuality comes up it's that we should just shut the fuck up about it.

you'll perceive us as gay or straight, but that's not who we are. you're forcing people into a closet, and that makes ppl depressed and suicidal.

i always got the impression that it's less about dating transpeople/non-binary and more about how preferences are handled

like pan people (at least the ones i know) state that gender doesn't matter at all and that whoever is attractive, is attractive to them.

but if im wearing a flag it's blue, purple, pink. id also wear a pan flag, but if i ONLY had to choose one... i just like the word bisexual better than pansexual.

Bisexuality is being sexually attracted not exclusively to people of one particular gender; attracted to both men and women.

remind me that some people claim only pan because they aren't sexually attracted to both genders but would have romantic interactions with them.

nah, just for fun. I used to run The Legend of Zelda (100%, glitchless) in under 4 hours, which impressed people in 2005. that was without any kind of speedrun guide, i just had the entire game memorized.

I personally take offense at the implication that bi ppl are somehow transphobic. I think it was exacerbated by online trolls too. I prefer the term bi because everyone already knows what it means (sort of) and that's the main purpose of language.

Ultimately, just don't sweat it. No one owns the words bi or pan so don't listen to anyone who claims to have clear cut differentiations of the terms. People use them differently.

Traditionally, pan was, as mentioned, used to show support for trans ppl, but pls don't think someone who identifies as "bi" is transphobic.
