I am fairly confident in saying that the number of times in my life that I've sworn without meaning to could be counted on one hand. The last time I can think of happened when I was a teenager, which was several decades ago.

As for controlling swearing while angry... well, I can't actually remember the last time I was legitimately angry. If that's a recurring problem for you, there are courses for that you might want to look at attending. More to the point, a random injury doesn't cause me to get angry, let alone so angry that I can no longer control what words are coming out of my mouth. If it does for you... well, see aforementioned comment about courses you might want to take.

Pain is painful and is valid reason to get angry. It doesn't mean you should punch people or anything.

No one in this topic is saying the lady is right for speaking up. People like me are astounded that there are others who think it's okay for a grown-ass adult to lose his cool over something so petty and also make a scene enough to get kicked out. If I had said "shit" (which I occasionally do under my breath), but maybe said it a bit louder than normal to where a woman and her kids could hear, I'd feel kind of embarrassed. If said lady made the same comment to me I wouldn't be too happy about it either because yeah, it's not really a big deal. But I wouldn't berate her and insult her kids enough to get fucking kicked out a store.

Again, should this lady have spoken out? Probably not. But she did, and the opposing reaction was extremely unnecessary and overblown. There are good ways and bad ways for someone to handle a situation and be the bigger person. This dude did it the bad way and became the lesser person. That's literally all that needs to be said of this topic.

Him saying anything at all in a situation like that wouldn't be wrong. What he said exactly would be the wrong response.

Here, I'll give you an idea - when he was a young man my grandfather used to haul off and punch people if they had the audacity to swear in front of women or children, and that response was considered completely acceptable, if a bit heavy-handed. Taco Bell is Tex-Mex with some differences. Your other example isn't good since any pizza by definition would be Italian food.

It's always been against the rules to talk about moderations. The idea being that they modded your post in the first place because they wanted whatever content was in it off the site for some reason, and by bringing it up again, you're just putting whatever they modded right back up again (or at least alluding to it). They rarely enforce this, though, unless the poster is posting screenshots of their disputes, or just have an absolute garbage moderation history.

Technically, it's actually considered flaming/trolling to complain about the mods at all, because the mods ARE also users her (flaming), and the assumption is that the sole purpose of doing so is to stir up trouble and try to prod a reaction out of the mod who dealt with you (trolling), but they rarely enforce that one either. Usually they'll only go after someone if they have a terrible record and someone marks them for it.
