You havent even heard of his second and third favorite bands. They each only have one album but theyre some of the greatest albums of all time that werent appreciated because the average person doesnt like REAL music

I quite enjoy the Beatles. I used to hate them, in early high school. I definitely understand people disliking them, but I think most people posting in this topic don't give enough credit to their songwriting and the talents of certain members. Listen to a to the bassline and guitar solo on Taxman (both McCartney). To my ear, songs like I Want You (She's So Heavy) sound like proto-doom. Sure, King Crimson and Sabbath were just around the corner, but I do think their progression in songwriting is noteworthy. I'm a fan of Paul's songs though, which Lennon called "granny music ****". Can't say I disagree. I still enjoy it. *shrug* Say what you will about their early days too, but they were an incredibly tight bar band with a massive repertoire that transitioned into writing their own music.

Yes I have. One was Creston Spiers, the guitarist for the metal band Harvey Milk, who has since disbanded. I was stoked on the new music for a while, but then I got tired of his conspiracy theory BS. I also have one that a friend does, that has generally been about her photography/art/mental health. Not sure how much longer I will subscribe, as I do need to take care of myself too!

The only other one I would consider donating to currently is 8-bit music theory. That guy puts out amazing music theory content on youtube, and puts up scores/sheet music that he notates on his patreon. I think that's a lot of serious work, and I'd gladly pay for the products.

You've got to parse through whether or not your money is going to a worthy cause. There definitely are a lot of already wealthy people claiming to be working towards some sort of goal on patreon, when they're apparently just supplementing their income.

I bought Ruby when I was 12 and was disappointed by the heavily downscaled time mechanics. Still enjoyed it a lot, especially getting the Regi's. Didn't quite complete my Dex.

I completed my gen 4 Pokedex. My interest in Pokemon games fell off after this.

That's too bad that he had his information incorrect, but you're making a large deal out of a nonissue. Did you not already have this information before? True, someone else could definitely have an unfortunate experience purchasing something without the right information. I'm sure they could return it.

If you want to be a constructive asshole, go back to the Gamestop and inform a manager that some training is needed. That being said, I've worked at many a business, and some places simply train poorly. It pays to be an informed customer, since most places are getting by on cheap, ie young and uninformed, labor.

I am NOT going to read this topic, but I agree with a drastic reduction in meat and dairy consumption, for economic purposes. Somewhat for ethical purposes, because I believe animals at least deserve a good habitat, but I am not ethically opposed to consuming meat/dairy, as animals would suffer a much worse fate in nature. We can ethically kill animals, in my opinion. I understand if people disagree with that. I also personally think it's perfectly fine and ethical to milk a happy cow. I'm a little more confused on that one, but ok. It would be beneficial for health and economic reasons to reduce our meat and dairy intake.
