The East Coast is by far better for entertainment, whether it's Canada or USA imo. West Coast still has good scenes in Vancouver, Seattle, LA, but it's just so much huger out east. I don't support the death penalty as a punishment as it has the opposite effect as a deterrent and the appeals process makes it cost too much money. I'm of this view. If someone murdered my loved one, I wouldn't want them dead. I'd want them in jail. Could be devoting the time to understanding these murderers through study/rehab (I don't vote they leave the prison system for crimes like these ones, but maybe they can teach other inmates some day), and acting on preventative measures.
