In retrospect its pretty wild just how square just sort of.....fumbled around with both final fantasy 13 and then final fantasy 15 in this way. Final fantasy 14 too what with them having to do a completely reset and then do-over of that game.

I remember being hyped way back when with those FF13 versus and then agito videos.

I legit have to question where people are going to have these opinions about things.

Last ones I was apart of was for Soul Calibur 6 and BlazBlue CF when they launched. Over time it got increasingly creepy and racist over black people and asians.

I don't remember Adventure 1 getting that level of praise, before and now. Its was always I the love it or hate camp.

Adventure 2 though? I distinctly remember being out of the Sonic loop, then all of a sudden everyone was talking about Adventure 2 like it was a new pokemon game. There was legit dozens of kids all talking about Adventure 2 and it's Chao garden

People still love it, but personally I think Adventure 2 is only 1/3 of a good game. Treasure hunting and robot shooting is lame and eats up more time than the Hedgehog Stages

Thinking about getting it

Imagine going from a mildly quick platformer with weird, washed out colors and only 2 decent zones out of 6...

To a lightning fast, colorful and vibrant platformer with a rehaul in level design, to the point were the first 6 levels are unforgettable bangers

The difference is almost Street Fighter 1 to 2 levels

It's gonna be a bigger event since it seems they did the current gen paper Mario thing where every character has their own dialog 'pitch' and Goombella's is high pitch and probably girly-girl

The last few times I've had it, the dough tastes like it was frozen
