On a preliminary view here are potential team set ups I can see based on the names of the group and who we have up / their state

The Ditch Party
Dismas
Cata
Maria
Abom
Kidd(?)

I feel this group is going to deal more with more spore esque stuff and have a higher concentration of traps and "surprise" dangers. Dismas Cata and Abom have good synergy (with Dismas being a good assist and Abom being the muscle). Maria here will be the spotter / intelligence person to help them on that front due to the knowledge she gained (really I can see Maria going anywhere as the smarts person given she's gotten info on the spore stuff and the fish stuff if I recall correctly?)

I can also see Kidd going with them too along with Moth dunno which unless he wants to go with more char synergy

[2 strong, 1 slightly weak, 1 injured (though for Maria being injured doesn't really matter since she won't be fighting ideally)]

This group is most likely going to deal with tankier things (either like those bugs or it may potentially be more aquatic based enemies like the fish guys only tankier now making use of shields or potential lobster people)

Leone is the spotter. He can pick out weaknesses that Aaron can exploit with his lance
Torin is the leader. He will inspire people like Jen into action
Jen gets benefits from Leone and Torin. She may also get the club that was dropped this entry by Fah which will be useful against hardy enemies vulnerable to blunt damage

Fakeru's sandals may be useful in the ditch and her luck and support may be helpful for shell party

though they may have more synergy with Jen and Aaron in shell group after what happened at inn

It seems the general approach has been more or less decided but may as well throw in my argument for em anyway

D
B

For approach it just seems going full out attack on these abominations is the best way to go

A- Group is too splintered and nobody is particularly generating aggro at large. Its basically small groups of unknown builds going up against at least one of these things at a time and hoping for the best

B- Primary thing I can see of this is everyone trying to move to one location but these things are really fast and this formation will probably play to them

C- Seems like its mostly going to deal with itself at this point (for better or worse) with Goetic using the card

D- With this the strongest guys go out and generate aggro on the bees. While smashing em up / tanking on their own this allows others to get more attacks of opportunity on em to help out since the bees will probably be more attracted to the strong guys going full battle mode on em and become preoccupied.

As for potion, my view (well view for Jen possibly making it through that since B seems a lock at this point) is that her not getting the potion may actually be more beneficial to keeping her aggro low. As far as I can tell these things are more attracted to active people doing stuff or at least on their feet.

Jen is comatose and is probably not a high priority to them at this point so ironically her best bet may actually be to "play dead" (as close as you can get given her current situation) as it were.

Also since it seems D is going to be the approach this synergizes with that as well. Potion can be used on one of the big damage / tank boys to keep them strong and shouty so they can continue to smash those things up and cause more of a ruckus which (hopefully) in turn guides these things away from Sleeping Beauty

Placed "Treasure" items may have an impact on the current situation if there is a conflict ongoing. So for example, the Treasure Chest was placed in the Old Inn. The party members there may have access to the items inside of the Treasure Chest to help them with their ongoing fight.

Since the conflict might not be over yet! Maybe Fah will luckily find something to help Jen out too (hopefully...though her luck has mainly focused on protecting herself...but I dunno really I am kind of down the middle for this one and may switch back again hah) >_<

Mmm going with B for now, though for me its because I am not entirely sure of the circumstances behind how the choice works (like if they have Aaron stay with Jen and move her outside while some of the others go for the loot would leave me inclined to vote toward A as there could be useful things in there like healing items but who knows)

I assume that Jen will be moved out of the inn anyway by someone / taken out of the action regardless of if they go for the loot or not. Of course there is the potential threat of there still being a monster / threat on the second floor or lurking outside in the vicinity (on top of the place just flat out collapsing). Heck I dunno if they can check out the second floor due to the stairs being messed up I think..but hey the loot was set there for a reason and it was supposed to aid groups in potential ongoing encounters (shrug)

If they were to go in, the main people that would probably be able to even do so would be Jamison and Fah (assuming they don't run into opposition and Jamison has to reload).

CoM is okay. Currently trying to platinum it on my road to KH3. Fuck Card Master

Also Blizzard / Firaga decks are ultra strong if you just want to crush it. Especially if you get the 358/2 cards to empower em even more to the point you are just nuking bosses

Use the clock tower to kite him at least that's how I recall messing him up. Diamond Dust from Gold Match (I think that's where it comes from) helps as well with the extra MP but you should be fine without that

Considering I couldn't beat Cloud/Squall together I feel like I am not where I ideally need to be.

I recall just going through the final 10 rounds of Hades Cup (or furthest you are at) over and over. Also doing the challenge modes for Hades Cup on top of it helps as you get the ultimate weapons for Goofy and Donald that way

Yeah the whole Connor encounter with Hank at the end could have been done way better than just hinging on that one question (also yeah the obvious thing they could have done was just letting the deviant / real Connor do his thing which would make sense if you reach friendship path). Could have also asked about the music and stuff (seriously does knowing he likes Jazz ever come up at all?)

Ah misread and though Aaron was somewhat closer to the other two but he is in another room. Also forgot Kidd was also a brawler and had assumed he'd immediately look to recover his gun first and wouldn't potentially jump into the fray immediately

The idea of Jen and Kidd pincer attacking the weakened one to nuke it down quick to hopefully make it to the remaining two sounds like a good idea but thats more on the assumption that the protect item actually does something to give Jamison a little more time. As it has shown he is very indecisive while Jen seems to just bolt on an action when shit goes down or when given an opportunity.

Also with the talk of the warm floor and what happened at the Smithy I am somewhat worried of more surprise explosions

As for what Fah is hoping for I am somewhat thinking of a stray spore just so happening to burn away her binded clothing so she can bail (though this will require manipulation of the spores in the room probably or one just happening to float over that way to her).

tempted to shift to B but going to wait on any other views and possible vote shifts so I don't just bring it back to a tie.

As for choice I can see any of em for different reasons but currently I am leaning to A

Aaron: Prone but otherwise fine

Very fast
Strong (obviously)
Stealth + Make little sound

Acidic saliva (unless the hat burning was from a spore)

STAGE HAZARDS:
Explosive sacs + incendiary / acid spores (unless I read wrong and Monsters can also use fire?)

Jen seems to have the highest reaction / general speed compared to the rest of the group so she has the highest chance of being able to relatively keep up with the monster's movements (even though its super fast) and she may go into overdrive (hopefully). Not sure how well she'll do with just a bar stool against this thing but she has seemed to do an alright job of grabbing random stuff and turning it into an instrument of murder so far so who knows!? Granted she dealt with the last one when it was unawares / preoccupied and Kidd seems to have somewhat higher affinity with her relationship wise if with anyone at this point. I am also worried the fire spores will hinder her movements (the monsters may also be affected but are more tanky we just know the sac explosion did a number on one of em)

Fah has luck which happened a few times already and she seems to be hoping for something to occur at the end of entry. Also dem sandals will save the day surely!

Jamison doesn't seem to be great combat wise from what he's shown atm and most I can think of right now is just his starter item possibly doing something (dunno).

Kidd is better with someone already dealing with a target to be more effective but needs time to find his gun again if he wants to use that (plus his hand appears to be injured so he may need to use offhand)

Aaron needs to get monster off of him and get ready again

Also there is the whole incendiary spores thing. Will using a gun at the area where they supposedly shot from (where Jen probably is atm unless they spread throughout the whole room already) be smart? Unless the spores are only incendiary and won't trigger a chain reaction if a shot goes off (and that would only be the case if he shot / anything hit the actual sacs)

The wood hitting the sacs down below led to the fire surge which hit the second floor and set off the sac bombs on that floor messing up the monster there.

Torin seems to have more general knowledge and actual experience leading from his mining days (he also seems more open to input from others). People also seem more trusting and comfortable with him than Maria.

Or will it be like a Trish situation between 1 and 2 where Trish went who the fuck knows where for this game (except as an unlock but you don't get any extra stuff with her right? It's just unlocking to play as her through Dante's missions?)

It would be kind of hilarious if Lucia was brought back and since so many people hate DMC2 and I bet a chunk outright skip it since every veteran says to, they'd be like "who the fuck is this?"

They've fucked up the playthrough enough that I kind of hope Pat chooses to not go deviant just to try to kill North.

Given what he said it seems Pat is going to not choose deviancy since he wants to take down North unless if he still thinks Hank is still on the table for this playthrough

Matt is probably going to be the only one to get a good end by the end of this if he manages to get through Jericho in one piece (unless the public support goes down majorly really fast (dunno how North leading it with what seems to be max public support atm will go)

Thats the last Larxene battle right? Pretty sure thats why I never finished Re:CoM on PS2 (though I did get through CoM on GBA some years before that).

Yeah the last one (which happens to follow straight after Ultra Riku). Unlike with Vexen you can't just dodge her specials easy and she has a truck load of health on top of it. That and you can't potentially cheese her like with Riku since she can attack (and therefore interrupt) your shit from anywhere on their field.

Mainly got lucky using the Replica buff (so five of the next sleights aren't removed) while carefully using buffed firaga's for counters. Fuck the late game bosses in CoM in general (since you are pretty much going to run out of stuff to finish em unless you grind a ton)

Oh yeah and Donald is utter shit in this game (and of course that is the only assist she decides to drop during the fight and he just so happens to feel like casing thundara which heals her instead of doing something actually useful like cura me or something)

Man I dunno where the fuck SBF playthrough is going to end up I think Pat is screwed out of friendship path with Hank just barely so I dunno if we may still get the Boss Connor ending. I was kind of hoping for a Woolie VS Pat rematch after A Way Out

Matt is probably going to get a good end I think assuming he doesn't massively fuck up a QTE or something (which is possible)
