Parrying is not required to get to the credits so I'm unsure how you get to that conclusion, unless the person you heard that from is also unable to dodge (with very generous i-frames!) or stagger enemies. There are issues with bloodborne, but that complaint is rather silly.

Lack of a pause actually sounds pretty neat if the game gives you safe areas to not move in.

It does, like every souls game. Once you kill the baddies in the immediate vicinity, you're never under threat - unless you're in a pvp zone.

I had to run through 7 different Chalice Dungeons for the platinum, and I actually thought they were not really worth playing much. They introduce a ton of extra bosses that aren't as exciting (or, in the Defiled chalice dungeon, they're bullshit), reuse the same rooms over and over again, and you lose the cool world and boss arenas from the rest of the game.

That's reasonable. The defiled chalice is legitimately bad, but I enjoy the combat enough to where I'll still go through the dungeons on some playthroughs.

I think noxious had a good point regarding fires - it was too splashable at only one red mana. It was a cool card and i thought that gruul fires was a really neat deck. It just simply easily abused when joined at the hip with other colors and still easily cast.

I've only put a few hundred hours into terraria I think, and never once have I had my entire jungle get overrun. Not even close to half of it. Maybe you got a weird seed and then left the game running for a week straight?

Chances are starting to happen. I've seen reports of politicians running for local offices donating the money they received from police donations to fundraisers such as the bail funds going around. I think that there needs to be more than a token effort here to demonstrate that reforms are in store. Simply arresting and charging the pig who murdered George Floyd obviously wasn't enough. There's not going to be a blanket solution, each city is going to be a little different. But the cities with the most anti-black histories probably have the most work to do. It's a national story, but the solutions are likely going to be local. Good luck getting much of anything out of this do nothing administration.

The police are effectively acting as counter protestors, unless they're joining in with the crowd to march.

Some departments have been even worse, by actively assaulting the protestors. If this isn't called the police riots, that's at least what I'll refer to these as.

I've seen a number of black voices argue that the systemic injustice is far more threatening to them than the virus. One can take precautions against a virus, and spreading that virus in their homes; one cannot take precautions against a militarized police force that decides on its own when, where, and how to end black lives.

I've only played one game of civ 6 from beginning to end, but the latter parts of the tech tree felt pretty hollow. Maybe it was since i was going for a culture/ tourism victory, but going through the tree stopped mattering and chasing the victory felt like a chore after a certain point.

Do any of the expansions improve on the end game trees?

Agreed on all of those points. Zuko trying so hard to do something good but messing it up and messing it up again brought a lot of weight to his redemption. I'd heard about the zuko redemption arc and I kept expecting it, but they edged hard with it. Really satisfying.

Both of them thought they were chasing after what they wanted. I enjoyed the contrast in how they finally came to terms with their choices.
