I think my Wolf is halfway decent if you ever want to test that theory, but for what it's worth Fatality thinks it's a possible -1 but that the results don't necessarily reflect that. So it's basically an even match up, Falcon combos Wolf way harder but Wolf has way better neutral and ledge trapping.

He used to have it in even I think, so he probably changed his mind. I agree I think it's as you said, Falcon will hit way harder (which in today's metagame, is way more important) but Wolf wins everywhere else.

I'm not around right now, but Ace I think I'm going to start playing Falcon into Wolf. I don't want to do ZSS into Wolf anymore, and I remembered how many times you pissed me off in Falcon/Wolf lol. Falcon has basic enough bnbs that I don't really need to practice, I just won't know the more complex stuff, but I feel like Falcon does pretty well into Wolf. My hatred for Wolf has surpassed my hatred for Falcon and now I must become friends with Falcon.

haha im also just a falcon hater but yeah may as well use it and yes i couldnt believe that up air. i died to lucario up air at 83% after the hit. that made me switch off zss lol

I can see that this is the tech being used from that clip. Seems like a universal thing that applies to auto cancel moves in general? But is specifically useful for auto cancel bairs like Falcon's. Gimr also goes over its application as a tomahawk grab mix up which seems great as well. Really glad you posted that.

I forgot about this video, but I always thought this tech was amazing for Jigg's bair since that move makes you turn around. This tech then allows you to turn around again and do another bair. Good stuff and find, I totally forgot about that video.

But yeah, seems like a tomahawk grab becomes way more useful (even though it was already pretty useful for Falcon). The major risk is that you're in the air for a long time in order to hit those short characters and thus can get anti-air'd pretty hard at times.

Rest days are very important. That's how your muscles recover and grow.

That being said, I've basically been lifting 6 days a week for 10+ years so it's totally possible. It's all about how you program, alternating intensity, alternating muscle groups, etc.

Yeah kind of got lucky with one. Great price, location, interest, etc. Definitely will refinance once rates drop. My mortgage provider already waived the refinance fee for me once rates drop lol.

I see what you were talking about when you said Mario and ZSS have been doing the double up air from ledge since the game released. They get to do it for free, the inputs aren't tight at all while Falcon only has a couple frames of leniency. People have probably been spamming this against me all along without me realizing. I'm giving Mario and ZSS my full respect at the ledge in bracket from now on lol. Falcon's version is a joke in comparison

Ah that makes sense. I didn't realize Falcon had tight frames/input with them. But yeah, ZSS and Mario, and I see Bayo's do it with ABK/Witch Twist, can get like full ladders off the ledge which is pretty cool. Usually I'll get like up air, up air, bair, but on a stage like BF you can sometimes take them off the top. Definitely something you have to respect. Falcon can get good punishes too, like you said it's just way harder.

With ZSS though, up air isn't super disjointed, so it will usually get beat out by another move which means I no longer have a jump at ledge if I try and do this input. It can be worthwhile to try and ledge trap aggressively, just need to be aware.

I feel you all when it comes to usual match ups. This is why I try to watch VODs of skilled players on each character just so I can remember how that character works. Sometimes this helps. One time at Xanadu, I got bodied by a Bowser Jr. All because I couldn't place how that character works.

Yes, definitely agree with this. Unfortunately for you, Jr is like one of the hardest mu checks in the game lol. Thankfully for me, we have a good one in Pittsburgh I play with a good bit.

I would definitely lose to Duck Hunt too for the same reason, no shame in that. Too many matchups in this game, a lot of times you need that bracket luck to at least play against characters you're familiar with. I wish one of you guys was good with Snake for example, there's a really good Snake at Encore I keep losing to. Cloud is one of the match ups that even though Falcon loses I hope my opponent plays them since it's my most played match up

Yeah it's always the argument of like, would you rather fight the common top tier, or uncommon mid tier... and usually I'd rather fight the common top tier lol. It is weird though how like your region has a snake, and we have no snakes here but like 3 clouds and 6 wolves. You wouldn't mind running into cloud and I wouldn't mind joker since my best friend plays joker. Almost all completely by chance, but yeah there's no way to prepare for every match up.

Regional today, 49/156. Definitely had a doable bracket for top 32 but I lost to a Duck Hunt R2 who knew the ZSS match up way better than I knew the Duck Hunt match up (I think I've played against like 2 duck hunts ever). Then ended up losing to Cloud in losers and I despise Cloud ZSS. Wish I did better, but won all my money matches so good time overall. Beat a really good Ohio seph which I was happy about too.

Just learned this tech. Grace and Glory rates it very highly among Falcon's ledge options

He got so much shit on Twitter for posting this because Bayo/Mario/Zss mains have been doing this for awhile lol.

Hating aside, it is a really nice tech due to Falcon's insane punish game. He can get full confirms and stocks from it, where a character like zss usually only gets like two up airs into a bair. Definitely a nice mixup if your opponent overextends on the ledge trap.

Not sure about another region with the fake calls, but I wouldn't doubt it. Yeah, Pitt and CMU both said everything is good to go. Unless something new comes up, definitely seems to be the fake calls. What a time to be alive.
