Toast was great but it's 100% not worth the 20 minutes in line you have to spend to get it around here. Zaxby's is the superior regional chicken place IMO. Their chicken is much better out of the gate AND their sauce is superior. Skyline sounds cool, go there. --- |

I dont normally consider myself too squeamish, but the show seems really heavy on the gore factor, at times unnecessarily so. It definitely leans heavy into the gore at times but I think the worst of it is early on in S1 with Dracula's army attacking the town and the aftermath. There are spots of it here and there throughout the rest of the show for sure but to my memory that's definitely the worst bit. S2 has the best of the Trevor/Sypha/Alucard dynamic which is probably my favorite part of the show. --- |

Shadow really fails to stick the landing on the plot and while it has a great deal of tombs and puzzles there are very few stealth/combat scenarios and as someone who really enjoys the bow and stealth in these games that's a downer. Rise has the best balance of stealth/combat and tombs/puzzles. --- |

Fastforward to the Valhalla reveal and I was back in. Just recently finished Syndicate and started Origins. Helps that it's been 4-5 years since I've played one of these and that Origins is very different from classic style AC. --- |

Regular racial slurs and even so far as saying them in front of friends/girlfriends of mine of that race. Almost all the kids have cut off contact as we've moved into adulthood, actually. A couple years ago I'd still drop by to see my younger brother but after he passed away I have no reason to see them. Oddly enough my bio dad's family is super cool and supportive despite his virtual nonexistence in my life. --- |
