Murphiroth 07/04/17 12:14:27 AM #179 | I just used stasis and a hammer to knock the ball down to the bottom of the ramp near entrance. Obviously that's on the wrong side so I just did it again to get it over to the hole. Might take a bit of trial and error if you're not used to gauging stasis shots. The ball never actually touched the ramp with the water and lasers, mostly because I didn't think to use Cryonis at all. --- |

It's the best original soundtrack in the canon, lending ever more to the spy thriller vibe the whole picture is gunning to offer. Yep. The Winter Soldier's theme is probably my favorite MCU piece, it's just so unnerving and creepy. I'm not even really a MGS fan and I got strong Kojima vibes from the movie, particularly the opening. So good. --- |

Murphiroth 06/29/17 2:02:32 AM #22 | To be fair it's also Ultron and he's typically portrayed as smarter than Stark who has come up with ways to neutralize Mags. Pretty sure Doom made his suit Mags proof as well. --- |
Topic | Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is so polarizing |
Murphiroth 06/28/17 11:05:23 PM #5 | I'm super into the dumb crossover fanservice story for hype moments but I might be the only one. Dante tossing E&I to Rocket is what I want from my crossover BS. I want more dumb shit like that. Have X pick up Mjolnir at the end or something since Asgard is fusing with his city. Voice acting isn't great though and the graphics really are all over the place, just look at Captain Marvel next to Chun-Li. --- |

I would save the dlc until you're at the endgame, there's not much reason to do it beforehand If you wait to do it at endgame you don't get as much time with the DLC weapons. I did a suicide run into the DLC to pick up as much as I could right after Amelia when I went back to the game for the DLC. Had a lot of fun trashing certain main game bosses with the Pizza Cutter. --- |

Murphiroth 06/24/17 3:18:10 AM #426 | The Avengers = Thor > Iron Man > TFA > TIH > Iron Man 2 I'm able to get past the flaws in Thor more than most since he and Loki have been my favorite comic book hero and villain for years and the movie did a pretty great job with both and their chemistry. Also has some influence from JMS' run on Thor which is one of my favorites. --- |

What powers? It's just a weird red herring line. Possibly. He also just happened to be obsessed with the gods enough to have a double entendre filled conversation with Diana about them. He's my biggest issue with the movie besides moustache Ares but really it's not a big deal, the movie overall was pretty great. --- |

Murphiroth 06/23/17 12:50:23 AM #14 | Moustache Ares was one of the worst parts of the movie. I couldn't take him seriously at all after he armored up and still had generic 1900s British moustache face. Should have been just blackness and red eyes under the helm like the comics. Also felt like the twist with Ares was just there for the sake of there being a twist. Mostly I really liked it though. It's up there with the better Marvel movies. --- |

Murphiroth 06/21/17 1:27:59 AM #369 | Oh hey Home Movies. Love that show. It's basically somewhat of an embellished biography of creator Brendon Small's childhood wanting to make movies. He then went on to do Metalocalypse, including a ton of the voice work and almost all of the musical work. Wonder if that'll be on here! --- |

Outside of the internet it's a super area and time specific nickname though, with only people from my high school in Arizona using it. The rest should be obvious. Murphiroth 06/16/17 1:35:29 AM #48 | I'm guessing Rey will in fact become something neither Jedi nor Sith but greater than both. The teaser points pretty strongly in that direction. Luke's lines about it being so much bigger than the balance and it being time for the Jedi to end have me thinking that. Might be misdirection maybe but we'll see. --- |

Murphiroth 06/10/17 11:44:46 PM #30 | Absorbing Man is great on Agents of SHIELD, but that's basically the best interpretation of the character ever. Although that time he turned to cocaine and then people who snorted him got a bit of his powers was hilarious.
