Everything after the Delorean getting hit by lightning just hits on every level for me. The mysterious car pulling up with the letter and the Western Union dude's remark about losing his bet, Marty confusing the hell out of the guy by yelling "He's alive! The Doc's alive! He's in the old west but he's alive!" Maybe my job had something to do with it, but distant objects started getting a little fuzzy. This friend may or may not also be a drug dealer, and when I showed up he started mumbling about how there's writing everywhere. He grabbed a rock from his table, rubbed a piece of pink sidewalk chalk on it, and told me there were words in there but he couldn't make out what they said. I didn't see anything, but told him it's probably because I don't speak rock. Then he grabbed a handful of dirt out of a bucket, tossed it onto a towel that was on the floor, and told me there's writing there too. He then showed me pictures of a pile of laundry among other things. I didn't stay long, but it was a rather interesting visit.
