I had one years ago where I was at some outdoor food court and some dude was shooting "energy modulation beams" from his hands, which would break up atomic bonds and cause matter to just fall apart.
I figured out how to fire them back, and apparently I was the only other person who could do this so I decided to stop him.
After an intense shootout, I finally managed to hit the guy in the head which put a hole in his skull. He was totally unfazed and started shooting again. In a daring maneuver, I grabbed a fork from a nearby table and charged at him, stabbing him in the brain.
However, that still didn't stop him so while he was still struggling to stand back up I grabbed a knife and sawed off his head.
He finally stopped moving after that so I dug two holes, burying his body in one and placing his head inside a shoebox in the other.
A couple high school girls had shown up just in time to see me decapitate and bury him and, as I walked away, looked at me in disgust, totally unaware that I had just saved them.

A group of scientists were experimenting on people with amnesia by forcing them to relive traumatic experiences from their lives. I watched as they locked a man in a car and submerged it in a large water tank to simulate a car accident in which he'd nearly drowned. The idea behind the whole thing was that an amnesiac who had some sort of trauma in their past would still have some PTSD lingering in their subconcious, and by recreating their experience it might cause a flashback, and in turn cause the rest of their memories to come flooding back.

It was rather horrific to experience at the time, and I actually woke myself up by wimpering in my sleep
