My sister, 6 years older than me, just got diagnosed with ADHD late last year. She always noticed similarities between us, and not just because of us being siblings. My bro-in-law also has ADHD, and more than likely, my niece will, too.

It's not like I haven't tried, it's that I didn't try when I should have.

Let's see:

Girl #1: Stood me up twice. Gave me a dumb excuse the first time ("I got invited to a cousin's birthday party"), then didn't even bother to give a reason the second time, just a half-hearted shrug of her shoulders. She quit working at the job a month later, and had the audacity to pass along a message saying she missed me.

Girl #2: I've known her now for 9 years, and I ended up catching feelings for her during that time. We became very close friends, and I wound up falling in love, and she knew it, too, but I didn't get off my ass soon enough to get my license, and she wound up falling for another guy. Cue moths of depression and weight loss because of said depression. I eventually made peace with the situation and we managed to retain a friendship; we still see each other almost every night at work and continue to talk and tease each other. She and her BF broke up over a year ago, and I do still have some lingering feelings, but I know those feelings aren't mutual, and I'm not gonna ruin the friendship we managed to salvage from that mess.

Girl #2-and-a-half: I knew she had a crush on me, but I was still head-over-heels for #2 at the time, so I didn't make any attempts. Boy, do I regret it; she was cute as fuck and incredibly geeky. No chance now, as she moved to Florida.

Girl #3: Shouldn't have tried, as I was at the height of my depression because of #2 at the time, but I was hurting and wanted something to take the pain away, so I wasn't thinking straight. She came onto me, and we exchanged Valentine's Day gifts. Probably would've gone further if I hadn't found out a week later that she had a damn fianc. That was a wake-up call out of my depression long enough for me to "Nope!" out of that situation.

Girl #4: Had a crush, confessed to her, she told me "Now's not a good time", and I backed off. Simple and clean.

Girl #5: She was cute and I liked trading smart-ass remarks with her, so hello crush. However, she got suspended for cussing out a manager a few weeks ago, and she still had a blemish on her record from something in her previous work area, so the two of those combined resulted in her being fired. Afterwards, I found out she was only 19 (the youngest I'll go is 21) and she had a 6yo kid. That's baggage I'm not willing to deal with.

Girl #6: I've known her for about 8 years now, and, unfortunately, she rarely ever logs in to Facebook, so I don't get to talk to her that often now; she had to quit work to deal with a family matter last October. She's got 2 kids, but, unlike #5, she didn't have them at the start of her teenage years and she's only a couple years younger than me. I'm pretty sure she had a crush on me, or at least, she thought I was cute/handsome/whatever, as, whenever I wasn't at work, she'd ask whoever I was working with at the time "Where's my (name)???", and was reportedly visibly disappointed when she was told "He called in/is on vacation". She even told me that not only does she want to come back if possible, but she also wants me to move back to the Input line to work alongside her. Sadly, I can't, because the manager told me he can only hire people "off the street" to be a Handler, not someone who is already employed at the company period. (I'm pretty sure that's a change that was made after they raised the pay for Material Handlers to entice them to stay during the height of the pandemic; don't want other employees moving to an easier job that offers more pay than the stressful ones do).

Felt good to get all that out of my system.

I think my mind just prefers to forget he was in it at all.

I didn't really mind Cranky Kong's voice, but I feel that, if they were gonna have Fred Armisen do what sounded like a Larry David impression, then why not just have Larry David do the voice?

I'll be seeing it in theaters. Not day 1, as that will probably be a Friday and I'll be at work, but the Saturday afterwards, I will be. IMAX, if possible.

This, and Crisp Rat is not a very good person himself: Cheated on his ex-wife with his current wife, attended a church that believed in conversion therapy, and I've even heard (unconfirmed, I believe) he avoids spending time with his disabled kid he had with his ex-wife.

I liked it, but it most definitely felt like a watered down Arkham game. I wish this had been what Rocksteady had been working on instead of Suicide Squad.

Batgirl's traversal ability, for example, is gliding like Batman. However, the gliding in this game is inferior to what we had in City, Origins, and Knight. Red Hood's traversal was clunky as hell, and Robin's teleporting was just annoying to use; Nightwing had the best, since he could fly with it.

We should've had more side-missions dealing with more villains, too. The main story has the Court of Owls, the League of Assassins, and Man-Bat(s). The side-missions had Clayface, Harley, and Mr. Freeze. That's it. No Riddler, Poison Ivy, Mad Hatter, Bane, Killer Croc, and so on. Batman has one of the biggest and best list of villains out there, and we barely get a fraction of them.

I also wish we didn't have to go back to the clocktower every single time to switch characters. We should've had the ability to switch at will, even have the ones you're not playing as help you in combat, or run into them every once in a while when traversing the city, like we got in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

According to the wiki, the only ones you can't make your beloved are the Duke, Sofiah, The Dragonforged, and characters from Bitterblack Isle.

Most Pawns cannot be beloved; however, Barnaby, Johnathan, and Selene are exceptions.

Last I remember, you can "romance" almost any NPC in the game, though only certain ones have additional dialogue in the final scene.
