You... are aware that baby names change in popularity over the years, right? Like, my grandma's generation definitely had a lot more girls named Judith than in recent years, and a name like Brayden is far more common now than it was 30+ years ago.

Tyler is a pretty common name for guys around my age. Can think of like 8 I've known throughout my life.

A few Camerons - one girl and three guys off the top of my head.

One Hayden, at least one Chase. I think I met a Bailey once.

"There's no defense" is a lazy criticism and usually feels like it's coming from someone who isn't actually watching closely or understanding what they're seeing. Defense has become harder for various reasons, but it sure as hell is still being played.

There are defensive rule tweaks that could be made that I'd be on board with. There's a lot of contact initiated by the offensive player that was called an offensive foul long ago, eventually became a no-call for much of the 90s/00s, and has now shifted to being a defensive foul more often than not. Defenders have lost some of the right to occupy their space, and I wouldn't mind seeing them get that back.

But then there's the simple fact that having more players on the court who are capable of shooting and handling the ball well makes it a lot harder to deny offenses. Defenses have to chase, scramble, cover more ground than ever because there are fewer offensive liabilities and stiffs on the court than ever and offenses spread out and move off-ball more.

Depends heavily on the pet and where you're at.

We have a Karelian "Bear Dog" and we live in bear territory, at the dead end of a quiet street, and keep chickens outside. So yeah, he goes out pretty much whenever he wants and roams free to go scare off wild critters. He listens well, doesn't wander down towards the main road unless we're with him, and the neighbors all love him.

The cats occasionally get to go out on the enclosed porch, but that's all.

Spent basically my whole life not really caring either way - enjoyed the lack of extra expenses/responsibilities in adulthood, never had a strong desire to have one myself, but always figured if I met the right person and she wanted a kid or two, I could get on board with it.

Met the right person and have recently moved in with her. She has three kids already (16, 13, 9) and being a sort-of parent to them is suiting me just fine. We certainly have no interest in having one of our own.

Finish moving out of my old apartment.

Finally wrap things up with my grandma's estate and get the probate closed... fingers crossed. Just have a couple annoying loose ends to tie up, then hopefully we'll be good to distribute assets and get property transferred into our name. Got an offer agreed to on her Arizona house (different state so not part of this probate) and that should wrap up in a few weeks if everything goes okay.

Rec league men's volleyball is coming to an end, hopefully do okay in the tournament this weekend and then find another regular physical activity to kill time until coed in February.

I'm not an expert, but I have this radical idea that a military as capable as Israel's shouldn't need to resort to wanton destruction. Don't intentionally shoot through/bomb the human shields. I'm under no impression that ZERO collateral damage is realistic, but make some effort to reduce it.

I don't get why so many people are having trouble with this disinformation being propagated. No, that people are believing:
"Amid their attack, they specifically rounded up 40 babies for a mass beheading"
instead of
"There were also babies there, so some died in the attack."
The actual awfulness of it may not be meaningfully different, but the former gives a specific horrible thing for people to have an emotional reaction to, more so than the general news of a terrorist attack that a lot of Westerners just gloss over.

George gets good jobs but blunders them away and goes through fairly long stretches of unemployment. He doesn't get the Yankees job (not Mets - I also wouldn't consider "assistant to the traveling secretary" to be very high ranking) until season 6 and it's like the only one he manages to keep for a long time.
