Ok, but why would it affect women this way? It seems totally unrelated. Just curious how thats possible.

Even stress can effect the menstrual cycle - not just stopping them, but making them heavier.
They're not nearly as well studied as they should be*, since in the early days it was highly "improper" to discuss them in high class society, and it could be viewed as a sign of infertility - which was a mark of great shame.
Also, diet has a marked impact upon onset of periods, and how regular they are - which means the poor had pretty poor periods due to their diet, never mind anything else.

*I mean, look at this: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/07/170704093610.htm -
Professor Leeners said, "The hormonal changes related to the menstrual cycle do not show any association with cognitive performance. Although there might be individual exceptions, women's cognitive performance is in general not disturbed by hormonal changes occurring with the menstrual cycle."
This should have been investigated in the 1950s-1960s, not in 2017. It's an absolute disgrace, that only now we're investigating such things.

Lost Airline Colours of Europe Timelines by Matt Falcus

"Airlines the world over delight in showcasing attractive liveries on their aircraft which reflect their branding and sense of style to the travelling public and those on the ground. The nature of the airline industry means that the colour schemes and familiar names we are used to in our skies often change or disappear for good.

Even the airlines that have lasted the distance reflect changes in styles through periodic upgrades to their look and branding over the years, from the fussy schemes of the 1950s and 60s through the kitsch of the 1970s and infamous Eurowhite of recent years.

This book traces many of the schemes which were familiar across Europe, including national carriers, leisure airlines from the holiday charter boom, and regional airlines feeding our smaller airports. Many airlines in these pages have now been lost forever, and others continue in a completely revised scheme."

The only reason I wanted the drip feed was to control the pouring speed because I thought I didnt trust myself to pour it slowly enough. But after watching that video, it turns out my butter/blender may have been too hot because I definetly remember that the egg cooked too much.

Make sure the receptacle, is very narrow - that's the trick. If you use a very open bowl, you're not going to succeed.

I had no idea he was a Mormon. Out of all the flavors of Christianity, I respect Mormonism the least because it is the most transparently false. Read about the "controversy" surrounding the Book of Abraham as an example. In particular, Sanderson ties himself into some knots when he tries to explain away the problem of evil.

He's a pretty good author - and a good author should have at least the "illusion" that their beliefs are not present, or showing in their literature.

However, I think he'll find it difficult to get traction in the TV world - because of his beliefs, I mean whenever he's brought up in literature message boards the fact he's a Mormon is always brought up. While a little hypocritical, since I brought it up - I only provided it as evidence of him not having much luck in TV.

GRRM politics line-up almost perfectly with Hollywood's, and he worked in Hollywood before, so... yeah. GRRM is asked in an interview about his beliefs, he can be pretty open and honest - because they align.... but Sanderson? I mean, imagine an interview - he's covered pretty "safe" topics in his little essay, and probably gone over them dozens of times for controversy, but in an interview on TV, you don't really have that time.

Tbf, he said "underpaid," not "low paid." I think the difference matters here.

In CA most high school teachers start around 60k, which I definitely wouldn't call low pay, but it's 100% underpaid for the work they do.

Nope, Teacher was at 4 on that list I linked.

A very important one:
A defined benefit or DB pension (also known as a final salary pension) is a special type of workplace pension. Instead of building up a pension pot over time, it provides you with a guaranteed annual income for life, based on your final or average salary (hence the name).
