I'm not sure if it's DSi or not. I know all the DS Pokemon Games from HGSS were a darker shade of black because of the infrared sensor. I don't think Order of Ecclesia was DSi enhanced anyway.

The cut content wouldn't be so bad if the lack of polish wasn't so apparent in the rest of the game. If you transform Ditto into a Pokemon with a custom move animation, Ditto won't use that custom animation. It'll use the generic one instead. You can get a Razor Fang with Trick in the Battle Tower, but since it's unobtainable otherwise, they didn't program its sprite into the game (see here: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/259372-pokemon-sword/78291906). They've been using the same item sprites since Gen 3, so it's not like they had to make a new one for it, they just had to use the one they already had. So we got the worst of both worlds in less content and lower quality for the content we did get.

Yeah, I'd have to say the 3DS version is the worst as an English speaker. Even if someone hacked the game to put the English script in, that's still way more work to set up than the other versions.

And yeah, I'd say that's true for pretty much every FF game except for 5 and 15, and 15 is helped by the other guys getting their own DLC episodes. It's a recurring problem with the series.

And it's not like FF8 doesn't have the same problem. Quistis does nothing notable after Disc 1, which is really a shame because she ends on her worst moment. Irvine just kinda hangs around for whatever reason after the failed assassination, except for when he brings up the big twist. Even Zell and Selphie kinda fall off after the start of disc 3.

Just a heads up, the next segment gameplay-wise has a bit of an awkward mechanic and you will almost certainly fail it once. Best to just accept that rather than trying to go all out to succeed your first time through.

To add to this, it's just better to pretend that the mechanic doesn't exist, because there's no penalty for failure.

I'd count the 3-3 scrum debate as a win for Shuichi (and Keebo). Not voting yet was the right move, even if Korekiyo did end up being Angie's killer. At that time they had no idea that he was her killer or that the two cases were linked, so voting Korekiyo based on the murder that doesn't count was really stupid.

Honestly, even if the boat incident truly wad an accident, I don't care. He should've been given the warning in episode 1 and ejected at the merge, so I just see that as production doing what they should've done a long time ago.

I think it's silly to say Ethan can't win modern Survivor when we just had a guy win without any advantages solely on his social game. If anything, Tommy proved that Ethan can win in this era.

And I disagree about Jeremy taking out the other alpha males. His whole strategy in Cambodia was to keep them around as shields. It worked for him then, so I don't see why he'd change it up.
