I think this one goes to Mega Man. With one life, Potemkin's team wins, but Mega Man gets revived to full while the other team has no way to heal off the damage he did with the first life. Soul Steal helps a lot, because the healing from it is going to make Mega Man even harder to put down. If it were a bigger terrain, Geese and Mega Man being separated would matter, but I see Geese starting at the midpoint of the two teams, so they should be back together by the time the teams meet.

Weltall Id's attack is strong enough to break Life Aura 10 times over. And I'm probably being conservative with that number. Reraise might work for Vanille, but she doesn't have that.

Raiden is using the Murasama blade, which was good enough to cut through Armstrong. Armstrong, who broke a normal HF blade that cuts through Metal Gear Excelsus. The Murasama blade is really really good. Better than Baiken's blade, definitely.

Fun fact about this terrain. It's 30 km off the coast of New York City. If Dizzy misses with that thing, she just nuked New York City and killed millions. There's a handful of people of mercs who would do that, but Dizzy is not one of them.

So the match is at Shell 2. This is a pretty big advantage for Raiden, because he's been here before. He has a built-in radar, so he'll know where Dizzy is, and he knows all the best ambush places here, because he has experience sneaking through it. First strike advantage goes to Raiden.

Now what is Ripper Mode, you ask? Basically it gives the cutting power of Blade Mode to his normal attacks. He takes down Gekkos and helicopters in just a few slashes in Ripper Mode. He's a melee beast when he's in Ripper Mode.

Raiden and Dizzy couldn't be further apart when it comes to personality. When Raiden embraces Jack, he's bloodthirsty and violent. He even says he's part of the 2% of people who can kill without hesitation. Meanwhile, Dizzy is a girl who absolutely hates hurting others and violence, only using it as a last resort. Even without her pacifist clause, she won't go all out to start the match. That's a pretty big mistake against Jack the Ripper.

So to sum it up, Raiden has terrain knowledge, better melee, and a much better personality for a fight to the death.

It enables Bushido and Runic for Cyan and Celes (and Gogo I guess). If Terra could use Runic that sword would let her, but she can't.

It's really close, but I think the seraphim's heal support gives Team Double Raiden a slight edge. It helps that they have to die 4 times before they're really dead, so they should be alive a while to provide support. The other team really doesn't have the numbers to spare on taking them out, and if Dracula tries his AoE he's likely to hit his own team in this terrain. Bayonetta's team has a slight power advantage, but the healing overcomes that.

One of these teams has synergy, and the other is a bunch of jokers thrown together for the lulz. Rydia and Ocelot want a strong front line, and Isaac isn't going to do that by himself. ARGATH is worthless, and Krauser being away from his team isn't going to help. Krauser might get one guy in the ambush, but he's falling afterwards, and the rest of the team is just too poorly constructed to win. Team League

She heals every time she hits him. So she's not going down quickly. Richter has to outlast her when she's healing on every hit and he has no healing whatsoever. It's a tall task to ask of anyone.

How many times do I have to say this? The buffs are applied automatically. They're not going to run out because she'll get further buffed as she takes damage. Unless Richter can kill her without damaging her, she'll get the buffs.

She's getting buffed as she getting hurt. Or when she dodges. And it reapplies as she does these things. They won't wear off.

Richter's item crashes force him to stand in place. If he's relying on them he's a pretty easy target to hit.

Richter isn't better in melee after Agnes's buffs. And Black Bane has a really good hit rate in game. Even the Ninja doesn't dodge it. He's not going to dodge every single shot of it.

She's not really demonic either. Alternis, the asterisk holder, is a normal guy. That's not always the case, such as the Vampire asterisk holder actually being a vampire.

Yeah, it's good for fighting the undead. If Agnes were a vampire it would be bad, but Dark Knight doesn't have a weakness to holy. Does the Vampire Killer have any showings against normal humans?

Richter isn't going to have the skill advantage after Agnes's buffs. And Richter has a whip while Agnes is covered in armor. A whip really isn't the best weapon for fighting an armored foe.

Are you really arguing Agnes is never going to hit Richter? That's absurd. She's good in melee range thanks to all the dodge boosts from Ninja. You're also overstating the windup. He's not going to be able to consistently dodge the AoE of Black Bane, and if he tries it's going to tire him out and make him an easier target for Agnes.

She's not casting anything to heal. She has a health drain effect on her sword, which means all physical attacks heal her for as much as she's dealing. As long as she's hitting Richter, she's healing.

Agnes's bigger skill set gives her stuff like buffs and healing. Richter needs to outlast an Agnes who is healing on every hit she lands and is buffing as she takes damage. These things are passives that occur because of her skill set, not something she has to actively try to do. Richter is out healed and out buffed here. He's good, but he's not outlasting Agnes without healing.

Like in the same way Blink in FF makes you dodge 3 physical attacks in a row, if you tried to Blinktank through that, you'd still be eating 97 attacks probably before you can even react. Definitely before Agnes can react because I just frankly don't give her Ryu Hayabusa reflexes.

In Bravely Default, the characters attack multiple times per attack like in old Final Fantasy games. Despite this, the ninja asterisk holder dodges all the hits when she uses Utsusemi. All the blades from Thousand Blades should count as one attack, just like the physical attacks in Bravely Default.
