It does slow down again in the next major arc then picks up again. I didn't get into OP until after BLEACH ended (which was still some 5 years ago now). I had originally tried it around 2010 when I was reading both BLEACH and Naruto but it didn't grab me. It was a lot easier getting into it the second time for the simple fact I had no series to read then. MHA and Black Clover were still pretty new and I was waiting to see if they got big before reading them. I hate to start new series that then get cancelled.
