also, it amuses me that i'm one of the few Cassie didn't block, since i think i was the first to actually call him out on his shtick. i guess i gave him a fair shake in more appropriate topics, which might have been what "saved" me.

season 3 is so tough for me to rank (i like all but 3 or 4 episodes), so i'll just share imdb's opinion instead.

(I really like The Vengeance Factor, and like A Matter of Perspective and Evolution enough to keep them out of my bottom 6. I really don't like Allegiance or The Survivors, which along with Menage a Troi and The Bonding, are the four S3 episodes i usually skip in reruns.)

i've never particularly cared for that one. i find it especially boring in reruns, after knowing the twist.

i've actually really liked that one. i was surprised when i learned so many fans don't. but yeah, it's a bit unresolved how mrs apgar's version is so off, but she's still convinced herself it's true. it took me a while to catch that oversight, but it's pretty glaring now how it's just kinda dropped immediately after it comes up.

also, it's amazing how often turning on a random episode ends up being this one, i swear i've seen it twice as often as my next most watched ep (and i live on reruns).

edit: i didn't get a chance to post about it a few days ago, but i also really like The High Ground, too. a very enjoyable stretch of episodes here.

The way Crusher was overly happy when first discussing the issue with Worf makes me wonder if she already knew what the answer would be and was trying to sweeten things over. Yet she seems genuinely shocked when Worf refused and it doesn't look like a failed plan situation, so, I actually don't know.

i think she wasn't expecting to be able to save the Romulan, so she was legitimately happy that she found a match. It never even crossed her mind that Worf would say no.

"Then die in ignorance. I can waste no more time on you." is my favorite quote in the franchise. Suzie Plakson is amazing, and i love the solution to the problem.

This episode is very very high on my favorites list, and probably #2 on my most underrated list.

lol. i have the exact same reaction every time i watch this episode. which, admittedly, is a lot less often than most.

you're being more generous that most long time fans, but that's understandable.

he's a pretty glaring mary sue. but i've said before that these days it's a little easier to get past, because you can watch through the rough patches in a few hours instead of a few months. there just isn't time for the hate to build up like there was in the 80s.

holy shit, we agree on something. it's a star trek miracle!

i'm a believer that nothing in this franchise is so bad that it's not worth watching at least once.

but there are a few episodes that challenge that conviction.

Code of Honor is one of those episodes.

are you planning to weave the overlapping series, or finishing each series based on when they started. because you're coming up on the first time it happens pretty soon.

it rotates. a month or so ago they were only playing seasons 1-4, now it seems to be 3-5.

decided to look through the wiki a bit, and i am so happy.

one of my only complaints about the game has been solved.

The Aether biome / Shimmer crafting allows for a ton of item conversions, but the exciting ones are background walls for the previously fixed biomes. it's now possible to move and expand the dungeon, temple, underground desert, and spider caves =)

i am irrationally angry that the background banners aren't in rainbow order.

Final Space has gotten the most buzz, but i think a few more have been mentioned, too.

i 100% was expecting the wrecking crew guy to just stab her with that special needle as soon as she let her guard down telling her story. the rest of them seemed cool. maybe villainous at some point, but honestly reforming.

yep. i would almost always default to using drunk worlds, since i liked having all the ores and both corruptions handy. will probably do the same with that one, now.
