nope. I was the one trying to tune out the other kids because I was four pages ahead already. I do have some serious social anxiety, though it wasn't too bad so long as I didn't have to see being seen. If anything, I sucked at reading aloud because I talked too fast trying to get through it.

edit: actually, reading aloud in class is fucking idiotic, full godsdamned stop. the good kids can read faster to themselves and are held back. the bad kids get exposed, which, while it could lead to help from the teacher, can also just lead to them losing any hope of interest in getting better. There is just not enough good to be had from it. imo, it's just lazy teaching. busywork designed only to fill time.

bought it before I had a computer that could play it, with the intent to upgrade soon. lost my job, didn't work for years due to depression. didn't get around to that upgrade until I had lost the damn game.

The Myst sequels after #2, which I will finally get to due to the recent kickstarter remakes. I've played the first two as a teen, can't wait to actually play them again as an adult. (and without all the disc changing the PSX version of Riven had. it was miserable)

well, that's not exactly true. the chemical imbalance fucking sucks (for a lot of people. it's not universal, though). But that's only another point in the favor of reasonably timed HRT, not against it.

Highlander 2: The Quickening

I defy you to find a sequel that shits on the first movie more than the original theatrical release of Highlander 2. In a vacuum Highlander 2 is a straight-up bad movie, and then when you take into account everything it contradicts and ruins compared to the first film is truly becomes one of the worst movies ever made.

yeah. thankfully, it didn't kill the franchise, because The Series and Endgame were both pretty good.

Oh no, I don't have rent control, it's just mine has gone up slower than the new move in rate. So yeah every time I renew mine goes up about 20 to 30 bucks or so.

one of my favorite things was my first re-up form letter from my apartment. they spent like half a page apologizing for having to raise my rent, please don't hate us, etc. then a line so they could write in the new rate. My first increase was literally $5. (1.33%).

a government set up like the pre-civil war United States (where the states had a lot more control, and the federal government a lot less) is the best way to make something like this work.

keep the basics with the feds (human rights, mostly), and mandate open movement between states. but otherwise, leave the details to the states.
