He's very late-game oriented with a weak early-game, but unlike Gardevoir, who this also applies to, he doesn't have the luxury of being able to attack from range in relative safety. It might seem odd to suggest Muscle Band even on mage-like characters, but you find yourself auto-attacking much more in this game than most other MOBAs, particularly since every character has a passive where your third auto is empowered, so you get surprising value out of it. The shield(s) you get from Buddy Barrier can make all the difference in a fight, especially around Zapdos, so whilst you won't get use from it throughout a match, it proves it's worth when it really counts. | Luis_Sera89 08/02/21 10:56:23 AM #496 | The current joint-#1 ranked player globally (Averse) gave his opinion today on what the best high rank team-comp should look like today, if anyone's interested. At least at this early stage of the's game's life. He had Cinderace as the optimal jungler. The reason for this being that he considers Cinderace to be the best character in the game, with the most carry potential. Funneling as much exp from the jungle onto him as possible and getting him levelled up gives him the best chance of dominating fights. Speedsters, who are the most common junglers at lower ranks just don't have the kits/stats to carry in the same way. For bot lane, he said Snorlax and Cramorant, although you could sub the latter with another strong Attacker like Ninetales or Gardevoir. Basically this pairing should be as oppressive as possible, as there's greater focus on this lane than top, as there are more Pokemon spawns, plus Drednaw. Finally, he had top lane as Eldegoss and Lucario. Eldegoss speaks for itself - Lucario is more replaceable, but he's probably the best split-pusher in the game and one of the best duelists. It sounds like it'd be similar in function to Lux's Elemental ultimate skin in LoL, where the game has to load in 8 separate characters to account for evolution choices you might make during the game.
