I got like 10k exp, 10 revives, 10 max potions, and a few thousand stardust. I was expecting TMs and candies and cool shit. Hell, I soloed a 3-star raid on the way home and got better rewards, like 6 rare candies and a TM. Fuck. --- |

I figure without that ability in Go, he'd be a rock attack god. But nah, they have him one of the most ass movepools possible. No rock type quick moves. No flying charge moves either so you can't even use him as a flying attacker. And he gets such a nice beefy max CP of like 3300 too ughhh. --- |

There's this disgusting dive bar we service once a month that goes through bartender ladies constantly. They got a new one again last month, and she freaked out when she saw me come in, and looked all twitchy the whole time I was there. After a few minutes of me spraying around, she says to one of the guys there "Ughhh, I just can't be around this stuff anymore, I gotta go outside and get some fresh air." About 20 hours in, halfway through the gyms, both of us don't really care for it. It's not a bad game, but it feels really repetitive, even more than Pokemon games usually are. I'm really hoping they pull a story out of their ass eventually, cuz going this long without a plot is really making me lose interest in the game. Your rival is boring, the evil team is boring, dynamax is boring... The best part of the game is the wild area, and after the first 3 gyms, youve explored most of it. It's an okay game and there's bright spots that I do like (gym battles are the best they've been in ages), but you can really tell that Gamefreak was pressured to rush the game out to be Nintendo's big holiday title. (That said, I still think they're bad developers and should be replaced, even though it'll never happen) --- |
