You're waiting in line for an hour in the freezing cold, so you can pay money to get into a crowded-ass bar where you have to pay MORE money to drink, can barely hear the conversation you're having with people, and then complain later or the next day about hangovers/tinnitus. Bought one present for my wife last night, and saw two other ideas for her. (We usually get around 5 gifts for one another) Had a good idea for a gift for my mother too. As far as plans, things are gonna be interesting this year. My Aunt usually does the big Italian Christmas Eve thing, and had been doing it for the last 49 years. She's in her 80s now though so one of her sons is gonna take it over, even though he usually does New Year's Eve. In exchange, my Aunt will be doing NYE instead, so the two of them are just flip flopping. It's probably gonna feel weird having them swap them around like that. --- |

But frequently I get neighbors of said houses coming out, getting aloof and asking me what I'm doing, taking photos of my car's plates, saying they're gonna call the cops, etc... I get that they're looking out for themselves, but like, idk, I have a uniform and only work in the daytime, and most towns in this area have really low property-crime rates. Besides, I have red hair and my car is bright-green. I'd be the shittiest burglar on the planet considering how easy it is to identify me lol. --- |
