Playing through his serious sickness demonstrated that Jordan was physically and mentally tough. It was what the team needed from him at that time. This does not mean that sick people should always work despite being sick. It also does not mean that Simone Biles is not capable of doing what Jordan did or that she was wrong to leave. People can demonstrate strength through different means and Biles already has proven to be the worlds best gymnast and a strong, inspirational person.

Meruem is one of the strongest villains ever shown, though not the strongest. Character-wise, maybe Id put him in the Top 10. He was interesting, but honestly it was Komugi who made him shine. Take her out of the series and Im not sure people would have sympathized with Meruem as much.

No, I have never heard of him doing anything similar to one of his friends, although Im not sure what that has to do with his standup routines. However, most of his humor in his later years was very dark and he basically admitted in interviews that he looked forward to people being wiped off the planet as a species. I dont know anyone who particularly likes Ari Shaffir, but like Carlin or any other offensive comic, Im not sure why that would matter to whether or not his jokes went too far.

Thats not really accurate.

TC asked if this comedian went too far with his routine, implying it mightve been too offensive for viewers. Thats not fully dependent on whether its funny or not, although being funny seems to be the trade off most people will allow for crass or rude humor. This is somewhat similar to how the fine line that exists between what is considered sexual harassment vs an acceptable romantic gesture is basically whether the target likes it or not. This also explains how you see such a wide range of opinions on comedy, where some did laugh at Ari Shaffirs jokes and others did not think it was funny at all.

Remember Carlin? Hes a comedy legend now but his original standup was nowhere near as fearless as what it developed into and what we praise about him today. All the guys doing consistent take no prisoners style comedy are 35+ and I really dont think it has anything to do with immaturity.

They're desperate. Its late, but they still want to live.

Its understandable. There are stories of starving sailors eating rats, then shoes or belts, and occasionally their fellow crew mates when theyve gotten desperate enough to do so. I wont judge that because Ive never been in that situation, although we can agree that not getting vaccinated is very risky and doesnt make much sense when we have all this information and these resources available now.

If we are relating this to the US (I know the topic focuses on Europe), then freedom of speech and freedom of religion, as well as the rights to assemble and petition the government, are all covered by the First Amendment.
