It hasn't been a year yet. And about time. I've been meaning to replay Spyro 2 for some time now. I find it curious that they are not anouncing this with as much fanfare as they did for the Crash remakes.

Persona 3 had nine.
Three physical damage types (Slashing/Piercing/Bludgeoning)
Fire/Ice/Lightning/Wind
Dark/Holy

Persona 5 has ten.
Two physical damage types (normal/gun, only one enemy is weak to normal though)
Fire/Ice/Lightning/Wind
Psychic/Nuclear/Dark/Holy

I find it actually impressive, considering they developed it in an incredibly short time. I have never played it, but from what I have seen in LPs, it seems like a decent game.

What's different and is it really a remake or just HD textures?

Permanent class system means characters are not carbon copies of each other gameplaywise.

More powerful system means there's no longer that stupid spell queue that either made half the spells in the game useless since the casting animation would prevent other characters from using healing spells while the enemies hit you for free, or made it so you could cheese it and enemies never casted their spells.

No damage cap/Damage cap is 99999, so fights are no longer needlesly long.

Fast forward option so it doesn't take half an hour to explore a map or 6 hours to fight the super bosses.

On a personal note, now that I'm more mature I appreciate the story more now than when it first came out.

The game still has it's issues, but it was really fun to play this time around.

Beerus is the god of destruction, basically the counterpart to the Supreme Kai, and one of the strongest dudes in the universe.

Jiren is a dude from another universe who is stronger than the god of destruction from his universe, for some reason.

And yeah, basically just watch Battle of Gods to get an idea about Beerus's character.

Mass Effect 1 had a ton of great ideas executed poorly.

EA got it's hands on the franchise, and instead of fixing said ideas so they could realize their potential, they simply cut them and made Mass Effect into a linear shooter.
