A job that is less monotonous, you can easily be productive all those hours and even more if needed. I think dropping hours as mandatory isn't exactly the right solution though, even for monotonous jobs. I feel like doing things like rotating duties and stuff would matter more. I think government mandated hour reduction is going to stifle possible solutions for employers so yeah I wouldn't support it either, even if I'm not quite of the same mind as Bell here. --- No problem! You don't necessarily go in thinking you MUST use 300 mythril to get what you want, but you should be prepared to if necessary I think and consider when you do it in less a windfall more than what you're expected to get. Like the game right now is in a state where you need to go big or go home I think, cause there's a pretty big gap between the absolute top end content and the second rung where you are. For people who are a bit lower spreading out and doing luckies is less of a trap. Like you talk about a glint and whatever as helping. It's nice and all but getting a Glint isn't going to let you beat the 5* Magicite. You really needed Red's Chain and probably one of Maria's relics too to give it a good shot. Getting one of the lot would put you closer but I'm not convinced it'd put you in striking distance alone. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

I'm kinda weird in that I tend to have bad luck with 11 draws but get enough ace 100 gem pickups and dream selection draws (as in the draw you get with the gems tends to be randomly great) that I think I end up kinda average on the whole. It comes and goes, of course. After two fests ago and the immediate aftermath (spent like 200 or 250 mythril to get Rikku Hyper Mighty G and mostly a bunch of garbage just after fest, and hardly got anything for Yuffie despite giving her many draws) as well as a rough start on FFIV banner I was in the dumps, but it's turned around lately. Hoping my recent spat of luck on 11 draws continues with Banner 3 tomorrow in any case. Have 350 Mythril but I don't want to spend it all here. Lots of good realm banners coming. --- No problem! It's pretty vanilla bad luck compared to what people post in this topic. It ultimately comes down to poor planning more than anything. You go in expecting to get great things on 2x11 or 3x11 you're gonna get burned lots. Shocked it hasn't happened many times to you before already. Stop with the luckies and half measures on struggling realms and elements and really hoard up to piledrive what you want and you'll get more good stuff. Related my friend threw another draw at the banner before it rotated out and got Red Chain as his only 6* after 6x11. Strangely he never talked about quitting --- No problem! Dude is a tank and while I'd call his melee prowess fairly middling (the extent of his physical hype is basically a decent physical attack and the ability to use a lot of melee weapons, maybe an attack or two in Dissidia) and well below the level of Heihachi, it's going to be passable enough that he'll be able to create some openings in a drawn out match to hit some of his stronger spells since I don't think Heihachi has the type of offense needed to bring him down efficiently, nor does he have the speed to try to make a claim that he totally blitzes him. I honestly could see Golbez viably cheesing Heihachi with rapid casts of Drain. This is actually his method of fighting in his first boss fight in FFIV DS so it's not even a meta strategy. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

In theory this was known and a responsible wrestler cuts out the more dangerous spots from their arsenal. It's possible over time Paige's condition starts to improve slightly and she can take slightly more risky spots over time and in the long run it's never actually tested to a point where it becomes career ending. The spot isn't exactly "safe" when done vs anyone. It's just the whiplash won't kill a healthy person-- it's still not something they should be taking especially when it doesn't really look all that good like most of Sasha's dangerous offense. Also it's the specifics of the execution in that instance was sloppy-- the suddenness and positioning of taking it in that way is going to whiplash anyone in a way you shouldn't want to. --- No problem! | Lopen 09/26/18 5:11:55 PM #220 | Well, I don't really want to turn this into a bad luck dick measuring contest, though while we are measuring, keep in mind my luck on that fest was worse than you're letting on. Did 4-5x11 and got no discos at all when I would've been pretty happy with 3/4 of them, getting a bunch of 1/11 burst draws (Ayame's burst proved useful eventually, but it wasn't something I wanted at the time), along with an ass of a 33 draw, and also keep in mind I had left the game the first time I had a very long run before that of nothing and I hadn't really come back into the game yet, so in a sense you could extend the streak back much further in draws than that. But the bigger thing to get out of it is the situations aren't really similar. You can do all the content and must wait a while to do it as more draws normalize. And the draws will normalize. That's why I'm stressing that it's kinda telling that I've basically "caught up" to you despite you optimizing your draws and me just drawing for characters I like, because the game is pretty forgiving. As long as you get some 6* relics, you can do the content if you're drawing at all intelligently, even if you aren't totally powergaming the system. On the other hand I could not actually do any of the content in a way I found enjoyable because I kept getting draws that had 0 characters I wanted stuff for, forcing me into using characters I didn't want to use like Tyro to clear stuff. I stuck with the game in the long run entirely because of the revival dungeons giving me some more shots at getting something good for some character I liked (burst selections also helped), and was rewarded in spending the revival dungeon mythril. It was just scraps, but an Ultra for Tidus and an Ultra for Sabin, that's good enough for me. Also helps realm banner design started to become more heavily character focused meaning it was harder to totally crap out while drawing for a character even if you don't get the chase relic. A slowed power creep that became more about breadth of strong characters more than powercreeping out relics every few months also helped, so the game worked for me better. It really had nothing to do with luck improving, just the game's evolution being something I liked. I mean if you don't find the game fun at all right now, that's one thing, but if it's just a matter of "I can't do the earth magicite RIGHT NOW and feel like I should have gotten everything I wanted with 2x11" uhhh, just be patient, and maybe try and save 250-300 mythril on your big banners next time rather than spreading yourself thin and trying to catch all the rabbits by going for earth fest + type-0 + all the luckies (vanilla luckies are way worse a mythril trap than going for Agrias USB1 btw, even if some did pay off for you) --- No problem! There aren't much any fighters I would say are as good as Street Fighter V while being less complex than it. There are a good many I would say are as good as Street Fighter V while appearing less complex to pick up and play at first glance, though. In fact most SNK games I would say this applies to. (Note I haven't actually played SNK Heroines. Just didn't like the idea that you have to have a simplistic kinda game to make it easy to pick up and play) --- No problem! I spent down to basically 0 after last fest (was at 20 or so after the FFIV banner) and have 340 right now. Also haven't touched realms in some time and could probably get like 50 mythril there at that. I'm only counting 75 mythril you spent that I didn't (I did an 11 on FFVII vs your three on Type 0 but did a realm lucky you didn't as well) from that count. But yeah I dunno I feel like you stretched yourself a bit thin in too many directions at once. Type 0 imo seems like a blunder since you implied you were basically fishing for one relic there. Think drawing for torments is a bit of a trap in general honestly. With the most basic backbone sub 30 on the d280s seems doable with two off realms. And D??? requires you to go too hard for it to be economical unless you're favoritism drawing. I mean if you get no discos on one banner you get no discos on another, but I'm just saying if you go in expecting to get what you want with 2x11 you're going to be disappointed way too often. Any banner I want any grand prize on I basically budget 3x11 minimum for a reasonable shot. But yeah I've gone 5x11 and 6x11 pretty often and have failed even still. 6x11 on FF2 got me 2 discos, both the one I wanted least (2x Guy USB) with 2 grand prizes on the banner in Maria and Minwu USB, so I mean yeah the Orlandu story is sad but it happens to everyone at some point or another. --- No problem! That's screwed. 100 mythril and not getting one of the I dunno 4 items you wanted from the banner? It's only slightly unlucky. I had worse luck last fest by far. I realize it's not the only bad luck you've had, but still, you kinda spread yourself too thin if you really wanted to hit home on this banner as well as the previous banners-- and all for what. To do the earth magicite asap? Why not just wait till one that hits your strengths approaches and go for that one instead. I'd imagine your water game has to be better, right? That'll be here in three weeks so no big deal. Heck if you ignore my last 100 mythril (which was INCREDIBLE with the godly Dark Knight Cecil + Paladin Cecil USB fest and getting both of Seph's toys, and getting Garnet chain on the BSB 500 Gem), my last 600 mythril was like... 500 mythril for Yuffie's USB2 + Rikku's USB + Dark Knight Cecil's Arcane. I got a bit of other peripheral stuff that was slightly useful like Guy's USB but yeah. It was pretty rough. Just gotta endure and your luck will normalize, in any case. --- No problem!
