I expect Reigns to get dinged in general when I'm running the initial WWE, as this mod is fairly conservative with popularities in general. Roman is only 75% in the US I think.

I don't really expect to use Miz or Strowman any more than WWE does though-- I'm just going to use them better. They both get a lot of TV time as is!

Hm. So Dash & Slash + weakness = probably enough to keep USB up, but not so much to keep two soul breaks up, is that what I'm getting here?

Wrath shouldn't overwrite VoF though. Shout yeah but I don't really use the mono-typed attack buffs anymore with Hyper Null All being a thing so I don't see that mattering much.

Using Dash & Slashes over Wraths could still be a pretty huge damage buff in and of itself though, even ignoring buffs.

So basically I think Dark Cecil and Rikku are going to be pretty equivalent with that in mind. If we ever get a banner "for" him at any point, his Burst will be on it as a consolation prize, much like Rikku's. If he doesn't ever get a banner I probably wanna bail on him anyway. I use Rikku more and think her Burst is overall better, so she seems like the better consolation prize to get.

So I guess the question is how often is Faris's burst useful. It's been said it's obsolete but it looks reasonably good to me. Like yeah it has overlap with full break and breakdowns, but it lets you free up ability slots.

Kratos has Hermes Boots which let him do dashes and run up walls



And gliding with wings which I don't feel like looking up. Basically your standard Kingdom Hearts Sora esque gliding.

I wouldn't put his mobility as top tier but he's okay. Corrin's staves and terraria are the only ones that can really play keep away very well.

Ranged he's got a magic bow he can fire like a machine gun and can throw lightning bolts. Range vs range I think is not to his advantage though.

Technically I'm going to be leaving WWE Raw on (mostly-- I will be making small tweaks which I'll note after the very brief write-ups for those shows) autopilot till No Mercy, and Smackdown on mostly autopilot till Hell in the Cell, but yeah, everything beyond and including those two will be what changes I make.

So if you think someone is going to gain or lose a lot based on what WWE gave us in this month that might have an impact too! But it should be mostly mine

Of course with the way TEW works I may bury a guy and his overness may go up so you never know.

Oh and random changes I made to the product that won't be obvious but should be said.

- Women went from Division to Integrated. Functionally this won't actually change anything except in very rare situations-- not going to turn this into Lucha Underground or anything, but I like having women autopush to card positions, and having an option for a non-tepid mixed tag or something once in a great while isn't a bad idea either.

- Modern from Very Low to Medium. Basically to put it in wrestling terms Modern is the "X-Division" stat in the product. I didn't want to go too far with it but I think this'll give the Cruiserweights the ability to actually... be different. (Fun fact the product dings the Aerial stat with the WWE product set to its defaults. Accurate! Goes away with this in any case.)

Managed both of those without taking a popularity hit so yay.

Jack of all trades master of none seems to apply, but the problem is she doesn't really excel at the trades that aren't directly covered by Rikku/9S, and better, whatsoever.

I think if she had dualcast and maybe like Esuna or something she'd potentially be a legitimately useful unit but as it is she seems pretty weak because she not good enough at the stuff Rikku and 9S don't do.

Alright. I need to manually edit the card because autopush has all sorts of wacky stuff cause the roster is so bloated, so card position will come later. Just assume the popularity values are mostly accurate as the mod seems on with that, though the main eventer types tend to have around 70 popularity and the lower cards have around 30 popularity if you want a range they tend to fall in.

It probably sucks cause I never use google sheets but it's not like there's a ton of info there

Obvious first issues with the roster:

- Jim Ross is employed for some reason. This isn't true, is it? He's not in some wacky backstage role I don't know about right.
- Chris Jericho is employed as a full time guy. I'm going to renegotiate his contract to some super part time thing and only use him as applicable.
- John Cena and Maryse will be gone indefinitely after the appropriate time in the month. And Samoa Joe will be on leave until he comes back despite showing as uninjured here.
- Kane can return a bit earlier if I want him to.
- Bella twins are usable but that's probably inaccurate
- Not sure what to do about Neville. I guess I'll make him walk out even if my booking for him is better but it's unfortunate.

Those are the only obvious ones I see.

Uhhh that'll have my roster, once I get it put in there. Help from people more in the know would be appreciated to know exactly what corrections I need to make to make the roster "accurate." For instance apparently Samoa Joe had a minor leg injury and was out for a couple of months after Summerslam-- I did not know this and just thought they felt like ignoring his presence on the show for a while! This sheet when I actually fill it out (in the next bit) should help with the bonus question as well, a bit.

I'm not really gonna do an extensive prediction thing, but having some reader interaction. So I'm going to just have one kinda generalized question per cycle, with the best answers being able to decide something.

Bonus questions where top two will get some sort of prize to be decided before November.
1. Who are the 5 wrestlers (men or women) on my roster that will gain the most popularity by November?
2. Who are the 5 who will lose the most popularity by November?
Tiebreaker: How many title changes will there be by that time.

I'll accept predictions until No Mercy is posted, which should be in a day or two, as until that point I'm just going to be (mostly, with a few exceptions) transcribing show results into TEW form and showing you the scores they got, so it's not going to be terribly unexpected. It'll serve as a good idea of what ratings shows will get. I expect bad as this mod (TheWho87's real world updates) seems kinda harsh.

If for whatever reason you clicked on this topic and you're unfamiliar, Total Extreme Wrestling 2016 is a simulation game where you take control of a wrestling promotion. You can control the match results, storylines, belts, can buy out companies, pick who you hire and fire, what you pay dudes, all sorts of things.

This time, I'll be running it with a gimmick, though. I'm going to be restricting myself to WWE's real life roster completely. I'll also be using the guys in a vaguely realistic way. That doesn't mean that I won't have ridiculous match results or storylines, cause what fun would that be to not have that kinda stuff, but you won't for instance see Brock Lesnar show up on every Raw to wrestle, because it's clear that's just not going to happen.

Basically, the goal is to try and maximize WWE's potential entirely on using what they have available. I'm also going to try to enforce this as I go along. For instance, Cena took a break after No Mercy, so I plan on giving him perpetual time off after that PPV until he returns in the real world.

I will make some limited exceptions. I'm going to leave it open to hire managers, commentators, personalities, maybe a one time jobber or guest appearance here and there, but the focus of the show will always be the guys who are actually on TV-- just maybe in a completely different way than expected.

In this topic, I'll post some brief write-ups for the shows I write, as well as what scores the game gave me. I'm going to start on September 2016, as No Mercy is kinda what provoked wanting to do this as I think that PPV was horrendously booked (after Summerslam was actually pretty good!). So it'll take a bit to catch up. Current goal is to be caught up by the start of November. So the first bit is going to go at a rather high pace in order to catch up. Expect through No Mercy to be posted by this time tomorrow.

Hopefully it'll be an interesting read for someone, and be sure to tell me when my show is in fact worse than what WWE is giving, somehow. Or you could be nice and praise the good stuff, too!

I mean I kinda want super high troll defense just for fun times in general (hell yeah +32 damage Ignis let's do this) but that seems like a solid stopgap till then.

Ignis btw is a big part of why I think Robins are underrated. With quick riposte it's pretty easy to get one of those up after surviving one fight, so the low base damage is less of a big deal. So you can easily ace two fighters with one Robin if you bait the right fight.

Robin's res is a tad low out of the box to feel totally safe so she needs a little investment to be a rock solid reinhardt counter. You do need a little investment so Reinhardt OHKOing her isn't a concern, but she'll kill him dead for sure if she survives.

I think running her with distant def 3 on A (and the seal too for ultimate hosing) will make her pretty amazing. That's my goal. Thing is I've almost gotten attached to Celica so I'm not sure I'm going to sacrifice her immediately. Need more distant def units please.

Yeah I think both of the Robins are pretty underrated units. Kinda tanky mages are pretty okay as long as they're not Henry/Odin tier where they can't actually do any damage.

Male Robin is better cause you can actually give him a nature and his starting skillset is better, but Female Robin is Green which is pretty nice given the current state of things.
