| Lokarin 07/16/18 11:30:26 PM #1 | About 6~7 years ago I was pretty dang fat - and Clench helped me drop almost 100 LBs to my desired weight. And I held it for a long time. I had a Bowflex and an Elliptical and I used them all the time. Then I got sick, and all the weight came back - but then I got better, but at that time I had moved from my parents into this apartment so I don't have the Bowflex+Elliptical anymore My weight is almost back to where I initially started... however, I'm still using the same food and diet plan as I was 6 years ago so basically it's all gotta come down to exercise. I just, like, really find it difficult to exercise here in the apartment... If you want to go from,say, the upper areas of Brinstar to Norfair there's only one effective path. That's one of the cool parts about speedrunning Super Metroid - there are long distances between these nodes, so minimizing your travel distance is a huge part of it. That's one of the reasons Metroid Prime's map design is so effective - they used the same nodes layout as Super Metroid, where Prime 2 and 3 went for a more hub oriented setup --- "Salt cures Everything!" To get the Bioflux Accelerator 2 you have to aim up-left, run and jump left, launch a remote drone at the height of your jump, translocate with the drone, and finally warp through a wall. The command to warp is a double tap in a given direction which on it's own was difficult when using a 360 controller. Axiom Verge's success was due to its marketing - even James Rolfe did a paid spot for it.
