Mine got sent to the wrong house (my mom's house in another state, because that was probably the last address they had before I went into the military). She explained I wasn't in the state. Then I got one here, but I had left to go home for a while, so I ended up not being able to go to mine...

Personally, I like most pizza places for different reasons. Like when they have different specialty pizzas like Papa Johns. And a few at Pizza Hut. Papa Johns also has good Garlic Sauce and seasoning in the green packets. And Pizza Hut lets you customize more than other places, I believe. Lots of crust options, the sauce options, the sauce drizzle, etc... Little Caesars and cheap and you don't have to wait for certain ones. And I hear that Dominoes has really good thin crust pizza. I think all of them have different qualities that make them good in their own way. Personally, I fine with any because pizza is pizza. And as long as it taste like Pizza, I'm good. So, when I'm usually going for pizza, I figure out what I want and which place to go to based on those facts. When I'm alone, that is. Or close to multiple pizza places.

It's really not bad at all and there's not really any pain. It's just slightly annoying having to deal with eyedrops all the time until your eyes heal. After a week my eyes didn't feel weird anymore and I could see perfectly.

After a month I forgot I ever had glasses at all.

That's what my friend said, too. That it wasn't that bad.

I don't think I'd ever forget that I had glasses. Especially since I have like 100 pairs...

Also, I want to get it. But it's way too expensive for me right now. And I would have work, anyway. I work all the time...

That's why I went with cubed. When I put crushed ice in a cup, then pour liquid in, it's melt like half the ice almost instantly... But I like the sound cubed ice makes when I pour liquid in...

I don't know if my drink would be cold enough, though. I feel it might not work. That being said, I use to ask for little to no ice because I didn't want my drink to be watered down, or to have more ice than drink. But even so, I think ice is necessary when not at home where you can chill a glass if that's what you prefer...

Canned food around 6 pm every night. The switch between DST and off of it confuses him. :)

That's make sense that it confuses him. I heard that it does for other animals sometimes, too. Though, they'll just change their schedule around and fix it. It could take a day of two... or more...

When I got my license I did not need insurance to get it

However if you go the traditional route of taking a driving course at the DMV youll sometimes be responsible for providing the vehicle for the test and youll need to have insurance for that vehicle. That insurance can be under someone elses name but they would have to add you onto it I believe

Yeah. I thought about that, too. Which could make sense since you need to drive a vehicle for the test. Though, I didn't have to do that back home. But you also need it to get it renewed.

I guess Texas does. I had to get a new license since mine technically expired like 6 years ago. But because of the Air Force, I didn't have to get one. But because of my other job and my having to get a CDL, I renewed it and had to show I had insurance. Which I did.

But then I started to pay attention to everyone else. And for even the kids trying to get a permit, they had to have insurance. When I got my license back in Maryland, I didn't have to have insurance just to get the license. It just seems weird. Because that means that it would be hard to get a license without knowing someone with a car that would put you on their insurance.

Then what do you do when you connect with somebody on LinkedIn? Send an awkward, cookie-cutter message? I don't like that stuff. I can tell when somebody is trying to network with me and it always feels so transactional. I don't want to make other people feel like that way. Nor do I really like the "pretend like you just want to hang out" approach, since that's equally phony, but you don't even cut to the chase fast enough.

I'm sure either approach works for the right people, but me, I'm just too self-conscious. I think there's a certain degree you have to have no shame to be an effective networker, cause it's basically like being a salesman.

Basically. But it can easily work. You don't even have to pretend to just want to hang out. It may seem transactional, but it doesn't mean you can't actually connect with them. Be honest. And some people understand that you just need the connections and will help you. Being social does help. But it will be hard to make connections with people without being social...

I mean, I feel like for the most part I know how to do all the stuff they try to help you with (resumes, interviews, etc.). My big obstacles are lack of connections and I have niche experience that doesn't help me a whole lot with transitioning my career. I can't exactly just change my past experience, and no matter how well you do with everything else they can leave you behind because of that.

To be fair, I could try to make more connections, but networking doesn't come easy to me. I think it's an entirely different kind of skill than resume-writing and such. Simply put, you're going to be better suited for it if you're naturally a more social being.

That might be it. I'm very social... But I only went to them to find places. I knew how to write resumes and how to do interviews. I had to take a class while in the military. And it was very recent. Even when I went to the job fairs from the flyers I found there, I have my own resumes from whenever. I just thought it would be a good place to find somewhere to work.

I would maybe recommend LinkedIn to get connections, though. Maybe...

For me, it'd be a guy. I would say probably not, but there's a small chance. I did almost hook-up with a guy who did it. He did some solo, and some with a partner. He was bi, so it was with a chick(His ex-girlfriend, I think). I think he wanted me to try it with him. We didn't hook up, though. Because we're both tops, so it didn't work out.
