I played the first game and didn't care much for it. Would have worked much better if they removed all gameplay and just made it a pure visual novel.

Everything in AAI2 pales compared to E2-3, that's the one top ten worthy case from that game (and is probably the best non-epic case in the series)

1-3 is a top ten caliber case

Lotta Hart is a good witness

Phoenix/Iris should be canon

Any case that doesn't feature the Judge or the Judge's Brother is lesser for it because all other judges are boring

E1-5's problem is that the climax is the showdown with Calisto Yew, and then the case goes on for a few more hours. Alba is a good opponent in a technical sense, but he didn't "earn" a battle of that length. I had no reason to care about him (positively or negatively) before he was revealed as the big bad.

E2-5's problem is the entire first half of the case. The Little Thief section and the showdown with the final boss are great.

Eh, he's only good when he's facing Daryan because at that point they've stopped caring about proving anything about the actual murder. Klavier takes him to school whenever Daryan isn't around, despite the fact that Machi literally could not have done anything in the case besides escape through the vent.

Trucy refusing to help Apollo with the magic trick is dumb, too. Thankfully 6-2 realized how bad this was and had her make up for it.

It's the only case that makes me verbally frustrated when I play it because the case against Machi has zero merit and somehow Apollo is utterly incapable of pointing this out the entire time (see, Apollo is incompetent beyond his second case, too!).

There's only one truly bad case in the entire series, and it's 4-3

Dual Destinies is the second best game in the series, every case (except the intro case) is above average

Spirit channeling isn't that bad

2-3 isn't that bad either

E1-4 is an overrated case and features a version of Edgeworth that shouldn't exist

Yeah, it's tough to focus on both at the same time. I usually try to do them right after I unlock them when I finish the Series Quest for that game.

Nominate the Roommates Game.

This is the best thing Friends has ever done, bar none. I love everything about it, from the unexpected answers to the amazing climax of nobody (except apparently Ross, the one who actually knows everyone best) knowing what Chandler's job is. I could easily correctly answer every question off the top of my head. This is one of the rare moments in the show with big (non-romantic) stakes attached, even if the apartment switch is short-lived.

Richard!

Richard is probably the best guest star character in the show, and not just because Tom Selleck is really cool (although he is). He's one of the rare non-main characters whose impact is felt throughout most of the run of the show. He's Monica's first major love interest on the show, and even after Chandler and Monica get together, his influence hangs over their relationship until their engagement. Perhaps my favorite Richard moment doesn't even involve Monica. In the episode where Phoebe watches the true endings to movies her mom wouldn't let her see, she gets angry that the guy in Pride of the Yankees died of Lou Gehrig's Disease at the end. Richard's response is perfect: "The guy was Lou Gehrig. Didn't you kinda see it coming?"

JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD! I'm actually with him on this one. Perhaps it's an only child thing in my case, but I never liked sharing food with others. I especially hated it when someone would just snatch something off of my plate without asking (and unlike Joey, I would never do it to anyone else). I've (reluctantly) learned to share food with my wife, but she does at least ask first because she knows it's a pet peeve of mine to take without asking.

Monica and Ross' hand gesture

I think this is one of those things (like the unagi gesture) that you've probably done at least once if you're a Friends fan. It's a clever way to sneak something past the censors because they establish that it carries the same meaning as flipping someone the bird. I also love when they would randomly drop it into an episode without any explanation after its initial introduction. It was like an "If you know, you know" Easter Egg for the hardcore fans.

Round 2: Got Kingdom Hearts III, recognized the Kirby and Paper Mario ones but couldn't place them, didn't realize the Under the Apple Tree remix was in BBS so I made the same mistake lawl, knew it was a Chocobo theme but didn't know which game it came from, recognized the FFIV boss theme but wasn't sure if it was the SMRPG version (since I know it plays against Culex), recognized the Metroid game but didn't know which one

Bonus Round: Didn't know any of these.

Round 3: Got Super Mario Galaxy 2's final boss theme. That was the only one I knew.

Yeah, it was supposed to be FF Versus XIII originally (Type-0 was supposed to be an FFXIII game, too, what a weird era of Square that was).

30 years ago is the heart of the SNES...! But I can say 25 years ago if you want to be in the PS1 era instead, and it's still the same thing. People don't like that FF has changed as much as it has, whether you grew up with the NES, SNES, or the PS era of the series.

I'm not saying it isn't different. FF now is very different than FF 30 years ago, and as I said before, there are some people who still want it to be the FF from 30 years ago.

But football now looks very different from football 30 years ago, too, but it's the same sport.

And I don't know that there's a lot of clamor for "modern graphics with turn-based battle systems" or at the very least, developers don't think there is, or they'd be making them.

They were always in the instruction manuals for the games. They always listed blood type, too, for whatever the reason.
