Anyway, this is not a good Tennessee team, so I would have been thrilled if we were somehow 4-4 after 8 games. I knew Levis wasn't going to look as good as he did against Atlanta, but I also don't think he was bad tonight. He played like a rookie, for sure, but I think the potential is there.

At this point, the goal for the rest of this season should be developing Levis into a quality starter. You're just going to have to let him take his lumps and hope he learns from them. Tannehill shouldn't see the field again for the Titans unless Levis gets hurt.

But that's also part of what makes college football great because the last month is often so chaotic

I think Georgia and Michigan will leapfrog Ohio State in short order assuming they don't lose. Georgia has Mizzou, Ole Miss, and Tennessee coming up in the next three weeks to bolster their SoS, and Michigan pounding Penn State worse than Ohio State will give them an excuse to move them up, too.

Like I said, this will all work itself out over time. The first CFP rankings tend to be wonky (never forget Tennessee's brief reign at #1 last year, good times).

I'd argue Link's strength was diminishing over time, too, but Breath of the Wild enabled him to regain some of it.

I made it up to the stopping point in Lloyd's Act 2 and started Rean's Act 2 in Trails Into Reverie.

In Armorica Village, Lloyd reunites with Elie. We learn that Speaker MacDowell was shot in the chaos, and KeA went missing, to boot. Elie blames herself for it because she chose to tend to her grandfather at KeA's prompting. I thought Lloyd encouraging her and helping her overcome her guilt was a great scene here. I'm not a Lloyd/Elie guy, but the game makes me more willing to accept it with scenes like this than Rean/Alisa!

Elie also had a chance to speak to Dieter, who's pretty evasive when she asks him why he would join up with Rufus considering he was pro-independence at any cost before. He talks about how he's come up with his own reasons and isn't being manipulated by Mariabell anymore, and he tells Elie to consider what "justice" actually means, for some reason.

We also get an interesting exchange involving Rixia and Shanshan (whose name I now know how to pronounce since I finally heard it spoken!). Shanshan is oddly possessive of Rixia, but then we get a brief glimpse of her giving off that strange aura. I'm sure this will come up again soon enough. Rixia also receives a ransom note saying they have "the dancer" and the Zero Child at the Ancient Battlefield. Everyone immediately assumes the dancer is Ilya, but why couldn't it be Sully? Guess we'll find out once we can advance the story!

When we transition to Rean, he's arrived in Heimdallr with Altina and Ash, and they meet up with Kurt's mother. We get a quick summation of where everyone went and what they planned to do, and then we're off to search for clues about C with the help of Elise (whom I already knew would be tagging along since we saw her with Rean in C's route). It seems Elliot is in Heimdallr, too, so I guess we'll be meeting up with him soon!

also you kinda need good teams to win it, if bad teams are winning this thing because the good teams don't care, that'll damage its legitimacy more than anything else

I miss the days when Snake was this dominant. Also, I remember it was a pretty big surprise that Vivi nearly beat Zero, but I imagine he'd be the favorite now.

This is probably the best game I've seen Milton play all year, which is definitely encouraging to see, especially since our defense didn't play particularly well.

Gotta get better at converting red zone opportunities into touchdowns though.
