That would mostly be true if I didn't live really close to the border between Virginia and West Virginia. The closest mall is across the state line, and we usually go check it out around Christmas.

Only been out of the state for special reasons outside of that. Like when my dad's aneurysm ruptured and he was flown to a heart specialist in Tennessee and I went with Mom in case he didn't make it.

Apparently the creator of this season tweeted that episode 5 was just the warm up. Not really sure how much more intense it can get, but hopefully that's a good sign.

Edit: And yeah, they release 1 episode every Wednesday.

I just watched all 5 episodes and I absolutely love, love, LOVE it!

What a freaking ride. Some of the characterizations and voices felt slightly off at first, but that became a non-issue fast. The script is so freakin' good. There's a couple scenes where the pacing felt off and the jilted animation could be smoother(I'm pretty sure it's by design), but this show is incredible.

Easily one of the best X-Men related mediums in a long time.

RIP Remy. You'll be back.

I don't think Magneto is dead. Think he's about to go straight nuclear on some mfs.

I saw speculation that after the blast they were all just wounded, and Leech nerfed their powers enough for the Sentinel to register them as dead. Personally, I don't think that's what happened but it would be poetic for Leech to be the one saving Magneto this time.

Nope, she still has her powers. But there is a specific reason things worked out the way it did, aside from it being over the clothes stuff.

Edit: It was 2 separate scenes I was talking about. One in an earlier episode where she's just wearing scraps for clothes and objects in the foreground obscuring her chest and crotch area.

Then a separate time in the most recent episode where she's dancing with someone and being fondled by them over her clothes.

But also, she can touch this person and they make out in front of everyone.

That sounds cool. Do you like it, or just don't really think about it much?

I've got green eyes with a honey colored ring around the pupil and a few dark brown flakes sprinkled in along the edges. The brown really isn't noticeable so I don't think it counts.

I went to school with a guy whose siblings had it. One had a brown eye and a bright blue one. One had sectoral, really bright blue eyes with sections of dark brown that looked like the radiation warning symbol. It was really cool looking, but he hated it.

There's really only 2 options that I feel can work out well for this series. First option, leave it dead. No use in beating a dead horse for a third time. Second option, forget the entirety of the previous entries outside of Easter eggs and references. Just start fresh and tell a new interesting story that doesn't get so wrapped up in itself.

You're missing out, we got a scene of her practically nude and she got felt up pretty good in the most recent episode. The envelope has been pushed very far for a Disney cartoon show.

Its so tempting . In all honesty, even if I don't watch the show I hope it inspires future writers of animation. Maybe I'll wait till the show is over, binge watch the entire season then cancel my subscription.

Yeah, as of now it's 5 episodes in with 5 more to go. Unless they drop the final episodes together it might be a better idea to wait at least a week or two so you don't end up paying for 2 months.

It is very good. Surprisingly good. I think even after the viewers raised their expectations and are still being blown away speaks for itself.

Though it is still just 1 show with a weekly release. Hard to say how much value that would have for you, especially when it's just airing 1 episode per week. Though, I do believe you'd very much enjoy it if you're even just a slight fan of the old series or X-Men in general.

My coworker left for her birthday trip today. She literally told me this morning that highlight of her trip is that she's going to go see his car.

She's a big true crime fan, and apparently she's visiting some museum where it's located. She's either going to be crushed or hyped that he died now.

Yeah. I saw it for a second and was like wait, was that him? But then I figured things were about to go south pretty hard. I just didn't expect it to go that hard.

Also, I don't like Scott at all but Jean way over reacted to their situation. She literally broke through to Madeline by telling her that her being a mother is something that can't be taken away. But Scott being a father? That's somehow over the line.

I had someone manage to figure out exactly where I work and give me a call once. I just do happened to be there at the time and answered. It confused me at first but then it clicked that it was someone I had been talking to from here.

That sounds pretty bad, but they were just checking up on me and they did some detective work and made a guess at where I worked and was right. We had a nice chat, but I did have other work so it didn't last long. Been a little paranoid about the info I reveal about myself ever since.

My home Internet went out during the eclipse and our provider hasn't figured out what the issue is yet.

Is that not a good thing? No need to expand to make profitable games, and now they can afford to support their staff better and have resources to pour into their projects.

I don't see any downside at all to having more money than you need in this case.

Yes it is fun. Few decent to good restaurants and bars for the nightlife or day time fun. There is a boat ride that gets you close to dolphins. That was kinda cool. You can get surfing instructions if you want to try and learn the bare basics of how to surf. Or just simply lay on the beach and get some sun or play in the ocean.

Are you going by yourself or with some friends?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the dolphins. There were a few swimming fairly close to shore that we watched. It was very nice.

Also, I think I caught a glimpse of a whale too once as we were leaving.

Yeah, I went for the first time year before last. It was a lot of fun.

From what I can tell, looks like almost all of TN is 80%. Though the northwest corner is awfully close to total eclipse.

Yeah, I was seeing him for my social anxiety. Because I really struggle around people IRL. My first time meeting him he decided roleplay was the best action to take, then he got mad that I was reserved and not totally involved. I mean, I did my best, but he was a stranger and I was already uncomfortable and then he puts me on the spot to act out situations.

It wasn't until much later that the other stuff came up. But yeah, once he learned that I was a virgin he'd open every session after that with "get laid yet?" and he'd offer no help beyond "use tinder" which I was at the time.

Then he told me that my face was half the reason that I couldn't get laid. Told me that I'm no Grad Pitt and someone who looks like me obviously would struggle... Then he asked why I wanted to date, and I told him I wanted to become a father. He told me to give up on that because I'd be an awful father.

It's like he only listened enough to find out what bothered me, then attacked that every time. He made things so much worse.

It just feels so hopeless. It's been over 4 years since my last attempt and it feels like that took everything I had left. I've been considering trying again, but I'm so tired of it all, I don't feel like I have it in me. I wish I could just meet someone and hit it off and go from there.

I'd be happier to know someone looked at me and liked what they saw. To have someone flirt with me or hit on me. To want to hang out with me and go places together. To find someone who likes me enough to want to share them self with me. To be valued. To be wanted. To be loved. For someone to be with me physically, not because it's their job, not for money, but for me. The way I want to be someone.

Yes, I know almost everyone is struggling to find love. To find happiness. But they aren't all struggling to find a chance. They're not struggling to find a partner, if even just for the night.

You were 28 and it didn't work out, but you found someone. You found 2 others after as well. And I can't. I just want to have the same basic value that you have. To be equal. To have a chance. Those people saw you, they liked you, they valued you, they wanted to be with you.

I've never had any of that. It's an empty feeling, and I simply feel that paying for an empty meaningless experience would benefit me. I honestly think I'd end up even more ashamed of myself, and hating that it was my only option.

IDK guys. I really don't think that route is right for me. I don't think I'll be able to pivot my opinion just because you guys are ok with it.

I just don't think sex on its own is important enough to me to do that. Yes, it's important to me, but more for what it represents rather than just an act to do with someone.

That shouldn't be my only option. I shouldn't be locked into staying a virgin and paying someone for sex. You keep saying that sex workers are people too, and of course they are... But I'm a person. I have value, my life should matter shouldn't it? I just don't understand how I ended up being such a worthless person. How pretty much anyone else can find romantic success with just a little effort, and I'm still a complete and total failure at 40. I'm no good... And if no one wants to be with me, I'd rather just be alone.
