I feel like the term "unfinished" is not accurately used by some gamers. Cyberpunk 2077 at launch has had a beginning middle and end. It's literally finishable. Whether you enjoy that experience or not is a different conversation.

Meh, I'd rather wait the few weeks for it to go to Disney+. I found Thor Love and Thunder quite enjoyable, if I spent $30 to see it in a movie theater I probably would have been disappointed.

If he's on Xbox you can keep the game on idle and it still racks up play time. If it's Series S/X it does that even on games you keep on quick resume.

If so I think that's a huge reason lately. People paying $10-$15 just on tickets alone, being in public. It's a different experience than watching a movie from the comfort of your own home where you can drink, pause whenever, and dont have to deal with assholes being on their phone.

I'm mostly just bored of it.

Even the stuff that's supposedly oh so different, like The Eternals, are not nearly different enough for me.

The best thing about the Eternals was the very end when a giant Alien showed up in the sky and yet it probably won't get talked about in any of the TV shows or movies and that's my problem with the MCU in a nutshell after Endgame. There's no stakes, there's no overall plot tying any of this together, its... just boring.

I recently watched the extended versions of the trilogy and there's a lot of random plotlines that get dropped for the theatrical release.
