As in from Tekken 1-7, there is a cohesive narrative with no prequels, alternate timelines, or far off sequels. The story continues one game after the other

That's the Guinness record it holds, but is that truly correct? Is there no other game from 1995 or before that did that?

Technically Kazuya isn't the protagonist of Tekken 3 since he was "dead" but I guess that's OK since it was a direct sequel. The rule for this award is strange
