I didn't say that, you're putting words into my mouth. I asked what do you expect him to do outside of suddenly becoming preachy. You haven't actually given me an answer other than "more." More what? He talks about the problems, he brings highlight to them (which he wouldn't be doing if he didn't make the videos, which a lot of his detractors seem to want him to stop doing). It sounds like you want him to become more political, but he's a Youtube content creator, and it'd more likely have the opposite effect. There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more. I just think we also need to realize that there's a delicate balance to what he does due to the nature of the platform and the world today. It's okay to want more, but when people start shitting on the guy for not doing some unquantified amount of more, I think that's going too far.

Like... What? In the blindness video, he straight up talks about how people don't have access/can't afford the procedure. He doesn't literally come out and say "because of lack of healthcare," but that's clearly implied.

Remember that they had to do things like have a portrait disappear and immediately reappear to convey that they dodged a sword strike, then immediately put in dialogue like "hey! You could have killed me, flailing around with your sword like that!"

This is why I like the models a lot more than the portraits. The portraits straight up made the dialogue worse because they had to sometimes describe the action they just took. Sure, like 90% of the time it's the models standing around, but when they do need an animation they can actually do it.

Except you're not going to win elections because your entire argument is based on this myth that there is a large mass of people that will "oh gee I'll stop wanting you dead and vote with you because you were nice to me on the internet." In practice, all you're preaching is to give those people what they want for nothing in return.

No non-negligible number of people are voting Republican simply because they got their feelings hurt by being called out on the terrible things they want. They do it because the Republicans offer them the terrible things they want. All you're saying is "Well, if the Democrats offered them those terrible things, too...!"

Well, yeah, but most of them had a more generic look with it, or a personality that didn't match. Kabu and Leon are the two that are very blatant. The rest just look like they're wearing a non-descript sports uniform.

Eh, outside of Kabu, who is just football guy, and Leon, who is football guy with endorsements, Im not really sure what is particularly UK-esque about anyone else. I dont think Pokmon has ever made any real attempt to make their gym leaders fit the region much.

He's a big name, they probably came to him and went "omg we'd love to have you we think you'd be perfect for our vision," and I don't know about you, but I'm not gonna turn down money like that.

I also do think Pratt's in a bit of an unfair position. He did have a very slight New York accent in the tiny bit we heard, and if he just went full on hammy Italian accent, in today's world people would jump all over him and go "Why didn't you just hire an Italian guy?" Why is a fair criticism of the casting, and his casting overall was a poor choice to begin with, but I'm not really sure what all the guy can actually do in this situation.

An entire movie of Martinet is definitely something I don't want, yeah. I'm not sure what I do want, exactly, but it's not that.
