Because if you read the angry replies to people mildly saying Mr Beast could do more, a lot of people are getting the message that Mr Beast proves rich people should keep more of their money so they can do stuff like thiswhich is something I personally think is a bad message!

I didn't say that, you're putting words into my mouth. I asked what do you expect him to do outside of suddenly becoming preachy. You haven't actually given me an answer other than "more." More what? He talks about the problems, he brings highlight to them (which he wouldn't be doing if he didn't make the videos, which a lot of his detractors seem to want him to stop doing). It sounds like you want him to become more political, but he's a Youtube content creator, and it'd more likely have the opposite effect. There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more. I just think we also need to realize that there's a delicate balance to what he does due to the nature of the platform and the world today. It's okay to want more, but when people start shitting on the guy for not doing some unquantified amount of more, I think that's going too far.

It would possibly cause a bit of controversy in Florida, but more likely would just not be as profitable as simply keeping the park open longer. Disneyland remains more of a locals park, serving a very large Los Angeles region.

Similar after dark events in florida typically serve a broader audience(christmas, halloween) to draw in their typical hotel guests rather than day of(or just night) guests that Disneyland can pull in. Disneyland guests will show up just for the event, whereas Florida in park events are typically an extra charge on an already expensive vacation. Disneyland already has a wide range of "after dark" events.

And no. This is not a win or anything for DeSantis.

These after hours(i say after, but really they are just devaluing my already expensive annual pass bu cutting park hours) themed events are something unique to Disneyland at this time. It wasn't something they decided not to do in Florida, it is a method of generating profit that is currently unique to Disneyland.

The after hours events at WDW tend to be completely unthemed, simply offering extra park hours for a large fee.

And #1 has been confirmed! Apparently the 84 year old white homeowner was in bed, heard the doorbell, and grabbed her revolver. Saw the 6 foot tall black kid and was "scared to death". Opened the interior door and shot him through the glass exterior door. Alleged to have said "don't come around here" as the kid was fleeing.

Conflicting stories on whether he was "pulling on the exterior door handle". Speculation on my part, but the kid probably tried the handle, wondering if it was locked, not with any malicious intent.
