| HaRRicH 10/04/22 1:43:32 AM #10 | Portal 2 beated (~2 weeks ago, can we count this?) Portal 1+2 are arguably the best 1-2 punch in a game series of all time -- especially if you're looking at just the first two games in a game series. And Portal 2 is the better one I used to think they were on equal ground, but I'm comfortable giving 2 the edge now. I have some critiques about the find-tue-white-wall structure to some end-gsme puzzles, but 1) ...it's been over a decade and there's not another environment that feels as alive as Portal 2's It's still incredible what they did with it. 2) Besides the credits, Portal 2'# soundtrack runs wild on Portal 1's. Not only is the soundtrack excellent on its own and in-game, but the sound design was a work of art. I still admire how they handled the triple-laser puzzle's music and like that there's a hidden radio with its own whole song. 3) Lasers > energy balls. I need to get back on the two-player mode sometime.
