For the set bonus you only need 2 fairy upgrades... I most definitely used this game to farm for the final fairy.

In fact I don't even have my climbing gear maxed out! I'm 3*4*3* atm

GameFAQs's user rating inherently will not give Metacritic-equivalent ratings because it's a 5-point system. Cutting out the existence of a 9/10 will drastically alter the results for any high profile game, and that's without even touching the psychological differences of the two schemes.

Got into an area I didn't really think I was supposed to be in as I was f***ing around looking for this damn shrine behind a waterfall. Finally found it and then went back toward Hateno village. Soared across this massive expanse. Saved a horse from a bokoblin. Got most of the Necluda region scanned and figured out.

The scale of this game is absolutely incredible.

I'm actually currently trying to find some shrine right now and being lead to a waterfall

Also speaking of the Goron set armor / flame resistence for Death Mountain... i didn't realize Flame Guard =/= Heat Resistance. I could not for the life of me understand why I was still being damaged in the Gerudo Desert with my full fireproof Flame Gear.

Just beat Hyrule Castle again awyeah, this time after taking the Master Sword so I geared up with my whole OoT outfit + Master Sword/Hylan Shield combo for hottt pixx

went by MUCH smoother this time, I really started nailing the shield parry on guardian beams to take full advantage... also made use of my bows as much as I could. Glide + Bow of of updrafts for timestop spam always feels so good.

Oh btw, I really, really like how shooting an "organic" enemy with an Ancient Arrow (I only tried this on a Lynel but I assume it's no different on any non-Guardian mob) just vanishes them to another dimension without giving you any of their drops. No free lunches!

I rather like having a platform that's different from the rest. Switch ain't perfect but it's really cool.

Yeah, you can use the parts to get Guardian weapons.

Getting arrows the best, just instakill the hell outta the Hyrule Castle so you don't have to stealth around.

Also gotta get + upgrade all the armor! That's what I'm currently collecting Gears for.

oh man speaking of killing guardians I just destroyed a whole room filled with like 8 of them with ease, without Ancient weapons (okay sans 2 that I just sniped with my only 2 ancient arrows)

although again to be fair all but 2 of them had no legs and thus easier to kill (only 500hp even!)

BUT STILL, TACTICS

basically just shoot 'em in the eye with a standard arrow as they're aiming for you, and that gives you time to chop chop chop chop until they start aiming again, shoot an arrow again, repeat... with the guardians that still had legs I just prioritized chopping those off right away and then repeat the same tact. I didn't realize non-ancient weapons can still cut off their legs!

also if you ever want that good location of Guardians, I mentioned it before, basement of the Lomei Labyrinth Island way up top-right of the map.

Trump's views of the Taiwan situation is exactly the same as his views on Israel & Palestine. He doesn't have a single clue about the actual topic and just goes to populism to make his choice. Hell the comparison works especially well when you add in the fact that China and Taiwan both hold a "One China" policy, they just disagree on who's China it is.. which basically goes hand in hand with how Trump non-nonchalantly praised the Israel/Palestine "one-state" path because "it's what everyone agrees on" despite the fact it means two completely different things and that's what the issue is.

I don't think anybody would deny that recognizing Taiwan is a good thing, it's only backed off officially for diplomatic reasons - while at the same time supporting Taiwan independently.

Is there any money making 'trick' in this game that people have found? I still always seem to have no rupees and the gear in shops is super expensive.

I get 850 rupees per play at the Super Guts Challenge north of Death Mountain

So long as you have full climbing gear and at least 1 additional stam bar (aka 5 stam upgrades) it's pretty doable. Costs 100 rupees for one attempt, so ~750 rupee profit.

If need tip on how... the first forking path, I think greens on the left and a red rupee on the right, take the right path and continue along til you reach the top. After you've reach the top, instead of finishing just climb over to the left for a Silver rupee, continuing left to the ledge below. From this point jump down again to a red rupee, and climb back up for a Silver, continuing back up to the next ledge. Last one... faaaar off to the left, just jump off and glide for a bit and you can find a trail of Green rupees that lead to a Gold rupee, just focus on landing on the wall at the Gold. Safely climb further left to the last ledge, then make your way to the top!

I like Korok seeds as a passive find, not exactly to hunt them out intentionally. Doing something or going somewhere and just finding a Korok by chance is a great feeling which is only really possible by having an ungodly amount of them. I'm at a point where I'm pretty satisfied with my inventory now too but hey I'll always be happy to stumble upon another increase.

I've actually watched the videos so yes I've followed it and that's part of why I'm not a fan. Shia was rowdy as f*** from day 1 and making a show of it, 1000% with the cameras in mind. And "he was arrested for assault" is quite a misleading narration of how the events unfolded. Shia was back the next day and proud as heck because the accuser had no case.

Anyone do the Trial of Thunder in the Hyrule Ridge? The one with some hill in the center and you have to bring coloured balls in but you can't just carry them normally since there's no point walkable entrance to it...

I'm not sure how you're supposed to do it but I just held up the balls close to the ledge, quickly Stasis'd them in the air, and bombed them up over the ledges. I feel like that wasn't how you're supposed to do it at all but it was fun.
