10 years ago, I would have demanded Viggo Mortenssen.

5 years ago I would have really liked Javier Bardem (weird accent, kinda otherworldly, tall, dark, handsome, mildly creepy, solid Roland vibe).

But now? In 2020? Dayum.....they would almost HAVE to get a no-name actor who literally becomes Roland Deschain of Gilead.

The other thing to consider is that Amazon was going to make a Dark Tower TV show, but when the movie tanked they backed off the idea.

Start by completely re-casting the entire film. Idris Elba was NOT Roland. That whole movie was offensive. Delete it completely.

Get entirely new writers, directors, producers, etc. Start from scratch.

Start the show during Wizard and Glass. Work its way up to The Gunslinger.

Have Cort played by either Bruce Willis or Mickey Rourke.

Go from there.

All the way to the end.

Tweak the ending so it's less stupid.

Depending on the movie....I mean, a person can bring a lot to the table. Men and women can have experiences that can make them extremely empathetic to the opposite gender. Some might even be so genuine....you could have a man ghost-writing for a female author for years....and the predominantly female readers would never notice.

They believe the author is a female....because that's what the book cover says.

So their perception of every written word within is filtered through the assumption that the author has intimate knowledge of the female mind.

When it was actually a dude the whole time.

Everyone, in their hearts, love meat on their pizza.

Pepperoni. Bacon. Sausage. Ham. Meatballs.

When such pizzas are offered at any kind of buffet, or it's just left out at a party.......it gets fuckin DEVOURED in record time.

But when you get a bunch of friends together for a party or something........getting them all to agree on certain pizzas is a fucking nightmare.

And what ALWAYS happens? People vote on weird ass shit like:

Just putting it in the fridge wont thaw it well within a day. In fact, it might stay frozen for days, even in a fridge.

I usually set it in my sink before I go to work. Just let it thaw naturally.

If I don't have work, I might fill the sink with lukewarm water and just let it float in it, and it will be thawed within 3 or 4 hours.

You dont want to set it in HOT water....because that will actually start to cook the steak sometimes.

And yes, I freeze steaks occasionally. You buy them on the weekend and maybe dont get around to making it until the following weekend because life happens. You dont want to keep it in the fridge that whole time, because it might go bad. So you freeze it. Nothing wrong with that.
