Although I've never read the books I am aware of Yens story in the books and this series does that very well. The only difference is she isn't white in the netflix series. The Joker for example was a none-canon take on The Joker and due to this Joaquin Phoenix and co did their own take on him.To this day some folk are still like "it sucks because it's nothing like the joker" implying it's based on the actual comics/movies when it isn't. I didn't recognize him and, tbh, had been under the impression that Cavil hadn't done much work prior to Man of Steel. Metalsonic66 posted... Folk that are the race of the actual characters they are auditioning for are also capable of being great actors/actresses. If you don't fit the bill of the character then your not right for the role. It's that simple. I really love the games, especially the second one, but the Netflix series didnt do it for me for some reason.
