What what do you mean exactly? You do work in fast food though, seems like no one wants to work at those places

I've had bad ones in my age group but for different reasons. Girl looked me dead in the eye as I was bringing the trash can back from emptying it and still dumped her trash in that hole that had no can in it. Then her bf threatened to beat my ass cause I sighed and mumbled something under my breath

Fwiw, the boomers I see at least can process why something is going slow. The gen x and millennials complain but refuse to process the obvious, visually unobstructed reason why something might be slow (e.g. lack of staffing, size of a location, etc).

No but I live in a small town and saw one. Had to get the fuck out of the way so the cop could pursue unhindered. So it happens even in small towns.

Unless you mean you dont rinse after brushing, I dont think the tiny amount of fluoride in listerine is on your teeth for long enough to matter if you are brushing after.

Anyways, watched the style theory video on toothbrushes and learned it really doesnt matter much really in toothbrush choice. Flossing is what really matters.

that dentist site says the importance of floss is vastly underestimated? i agree. Seems most americans underestimate floss and brush like twice every day. Why do most americans dislike to floss maybe etc...?

And then you have other issues, last week there was an Amber Alert that went bad just about a week ago.
The Baby was found in a pipe of some sort at a GE Plant.

I've been on ebay for over 20 and everything has been delivered except one item that was some sort of scam. I think it was a hijacked account.

There's the money back guarantee just in case something isn't delivered and it's usually back in your account fast. But yeah, certain things like electric toothbrushes are far cheaper to buy there than Amazon. Other things not so much.

they refunded your money for that hijacked acct? possibly that can happen on amazon as well. No idea what this guy is talking about though, won't deliver.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I think my gf bought it. I found it under the sink and can't remember what was on the packaging. Just doing a quick Google search, I think it was an Oral-B with some kind of fancy bristles. Like a super expensive toothbrush, but just not the generic dollar store ones.

have gotten a few from dollar tree. many dollar tree ones are brand name.

I have never had an item not delivered by using eBay. It's true at some point I randomly started using Amazon more, but I have never had an issue with eBay. Not sure what you are talking about. There's even a feedback system where people leave reviews on buyers or sellers so you know if accounts are reputable or not. In the event someone didn't send an item, PayPal would have you covered.

On topic, I used to prefer electric toothbrushes, but now I'm not so sure. A month or so ago, I ran out of toothbrush heads thinking I still had some more, so I had to go to a manual while I waited for the replamcenet heads to come in. Instead of a cheap, dollar store manual, this one was a really good manual. And I just felt like I was really getting a good cleaning in. Better than my electric. I also feel like I can clean quicker. You're supposed to go slow with the electric and not do the back and forth motion while it's spinning (at least that's what I heard). I tried to do the manual in the morning and electric at night.

what brand and how much was this really good manual? some dollar store toothbrushes are ok. yeah don't know what that guy is talking about , they won't deliver your stuff? But ebay did used to be cheaper yrs ago. amazon has really closed the gap in price. That might be the reason ebay lost ground

If it gets banned, we'll immediately get a TikTok clone ready to take its place. There may be some fragmentation of the userbase, but ultimately people will flock to a specific platform. Anyone who thinks this modality of social media would end with TikTok is very optimistic and/or deluded.

I think back then the news and advertising painted Simpsons as a very adult oriented show. They never watched it, at least to my knowledge, and I think they just went with it. Also Bart was probably a big reason why they didn't want me watching it lol Seinfeld and Friends were way more obscene tho

Funnily enough my parents wouldn't let me watch Simpsons growing up but we'd watch Seinfeld reruns and Friends as it aired together. Think that made me like Simpsons even more when I started sneak watching it when I was like 10 lol

Simpsons is my favorite sitcom of all time. I do some sort of rewatch every few years. I do love Seinfeld tho.

I've seen new episodes but I usually end my rewatches around s20. I think the furthest I've gotten was s22 then I kinda just peter out of it. I think Simpsons loses its steam a lot later than people give it credit for (imo, around the start of s19 is when it starts becoming more bad than good) but once it does its really not great.

are you a huge married with children fan? that show seems to be way more popular on this site compared to most americans. Same goes for seinfeld. Did you like tv show smallville ? Not big on this site and didn't get huge ratings i thought it was great.

Yes to both but only on a small handful of occasions. Hooters does nothing for me as, at least at the time, their menu wasn't terribly vegetarian friendly.

Twin Peaks actually does have good food and beer and a shitload of TVs so on the rare occasion I go there, that's why.

I applied as a cook at a nearby twin peaks a few years ago thinking it was a restaurant themed after the TV show.
went for my interview and I was way wrong. I technically did get hired, but was so disappointed that I didn't go in for my first shift.

why isn't there a david lynch themed diner?

I know it is a running joke that people go to Hooters for the wings, but when we were teens my friends and I really DID go for that. At that time at least the wings were great and wonderfully spicy.

I cant speak to the wings now. I am a married man and no longer allowed to patronize the local Hooters. :) But decades ago the wings were actually really good.
