i agree that movies are in the worst spot, creatively, i've seen in my lifetime. its just remake after sequel after nostalgia grab and it's so tiring.

but there are so many great movies from the past i haven't seen, there's no way i have time to watch them all.

they also have Showgirls and it's actually a solid movie. definitely not deserving of the hate it got at the time, and it's a shame that it ruined Berkley's career.

i generally measure the worth of my time against what my estimated hourly rate would be (salary / 2000). especially when i'm debating about whether i should do something myself, or pay someone to do it for me. but somehow i still mow my own grass.

I agree with their point that it shouldn't have been called "Andor". Probably one of the biggest reasons it underperformed IMO.

they just had to make it tie-in with an existing character or idea. Cassian himself is probably the least interesting character in the show.

It's right there in the rules though that you'll get a permanent ban even with no prior warn history. The mods are just following the rules they set.

sure. but it's a pretty strict rule to just instantly perma-ban someone with no mod history on the first offense. and the rules can change out from under you without notice. so i guess you better read the rules of every sub you post on before every post you make.

i've been modded a few times and most subs have a little slack where you get a warning for violating a rule. besides spam bots, i never ban someone on the first offense.
