Im from Iowa and legitimately wince when reading online comments from a large chunk of our fanbase and the other people who have connected themselves to it. Anything Caitlin does is passionate, she has a winning mentality, she has class. Any thing Angel does is cocky, arrogant, and disrespectful

When Caitlin complains to the refs and struggles she has so much pressure on her shoulders to win, shes only 22 we need to give her a break yet when it comes to Angel its shes low class, shes a thug, she wont make it the WNBA, shes going to go broke

Seriously the amount of times you hear people claim Iowa has class, Caitlin has class, coach Bluder has class while LSU, Angel, and coach Mulkey are classless is maddening.

Its honestly sickening and Ive been seeing it for a year. People have been whining about Angel in articles of Iowa articles of Caitlinfor a year now when it has nothing to do with LSU. Iowa fans think last year the refs cheated them. Seriously every sport, every team that loses the fans whine about refs. Its tiring. The girl that came off the bench and didnt miss a single shot and scored 25 points is what cost Iowa.

LSU is most likely going to win again. They have the better team. Flaujae Johnson is awesome, Aneesah Morrow is legit, of course Angel Reese is dominant inside, and you have Hailey Van Lith to boot that transferred in plus a deeper bench.

The online meltdown tomorrow will get ugly and yeah its bringing out the absolute worst racists. People should be uplifting these ladies and celebrating them. Not looking to tear them down.

To be fair, Kim Mulkey is always classless.

I haven't paid attention this year. But I was casually following the women's tournament last year. I remember people being really weird about those 2 players. The 2 often act very similar but conservatives cheer when Caitlin does something and get mad if Angel does the same thing. I remember them thinking Angel had no right to taunt her rivals, even though people love it when Caitlin does it.

I don't think Caitlin is racist but lots of her fans are.

Caitlin Clark, sure. Angel Reese? Lol no. Most mock drafts have her picked like 7th or 8th, so she's not even top 5 in her own draft class

Paige Buechers, Cameron Brink, Hannah Hidalgo, Juju Watkins, and several others are all better than her. Reese might not even be the best player on her own team thanks to Aneesah Morrow

Last year, Reese made it more about Iowa losing instead of LSU winning with the whole mocking thing. Celebrating is one thing, but I've never much cared when players mock/taunt other players after a win. Like why make it about them instead of celebrating with your team. Kinda screams small-dick energy and "You live in my head rent-free"

As for complaining to the refs, literally every NBA player has done it for decades, so I couldn't really care less about that

Both are good players, my issue with both Angel and Caitilin rarely get called for fouls when they commit obvious fouls and they act like they do nothing wrong.

Angel has hit so many players in the face or pull their hair and doesn't get called for it.
