My order of From Hell by Alan Moor and Eddie Campbell came in today. I lucked out on finding one for 20 bucks after shipping on Ebay. I was waiting for a good price on Amazon and it was down to $25 at one point before going up to $30, so I'm glad I was able to find it for an even better price.

I read through this topic and yeah, dude sounds like a massive piece of garbage, but before all that other stuff was posted there was reasonable doubt.

Aren't there very few things that can actually harm Ganon? Like the Master Sword and Light Arrows. Does Mario have access to anything equal to those?

They eventually added the ability to "lock" a skill to keep it from decaying, but since there was no such thing as a skill reset in the game, the only way to "change class" on a character is to unlock a skill you want to give up so your new skill can siphon points from the one you want to lower.

And to be clear, the decay here was like 0.1 out of 100.0 total points lowering like once a week.

Ultima Online still has my favorite skill system: You get a global skillpoint cap of like 700 points and can level any skill at any time just by using it. Each skill gets harder to master up to a maximum of 100 and if you don't use a skill the level decays over time. So if you want to be pure melee go nuts. Want to splash in some magic? You get to decide who melee skill you suck at. Want to give up maxxing any one skill to have more skills at a reasonably high level? Cool.

It's total freedom of choice.

Boo, decaying skills is shit game design. Even Final Fantasy II dropped that in every re-release.

Tag, I probably won't go off the list but I've always wanted to learn to draw and I have a pretty neat book on drawing that has 30 days of exercises, so I plan to get through that by the end of the month.

Also if the leaks are real, *MAJOR POTENTIAL SPOILERS* Jordan is going to show up for a cameo appearance in Wakanda Forever, but obviously he can't be there on stage or else it would spoil the movie.

Still waiting on the Switch port, Nintendo! But I guess it won't be happening. Would have been nice to have the whole Xenoblade saga on one console.
