I used to follow him pretty closely on social media when GG were big and he was an incredibly superficial surface-level-awareness kind of person who absolutely could not deal with being told they were wrong about anything. And so he began to double down insanely, but because this was happening in the middle of the 2016 political racism hellworld, people like Carl of Akkad and Ethan got into his ear and fed him bullshit and helped him dig his hole far deeper than he ever could have. That debate podcast was the absolute culmination and by that time alt right people had started trying to use him as a mouthpiece and a martyr.

Somewhere in there I think he realized he was getting stupidly out of hand. Or at the very least realized things were going to get a lot worse if he kept going because he wasnt going to be able to market himself to pretty much anyone but the alt right skeptic YouTube crowd. Heres hoping hes realized not to do that kind of shit again

The skeptic crowd on YouTube isn't even alt-right. If anything, actual far right, alt-right folks love to mock Sargon and the other "septics".

Take Ethan Ralph and his Killstream show, for example. They are far right enough that they're on friendly terms with white nationalists like Richard Spencer and Nick Fuentes and they made "Screw your optics, I'm going in" a running joke on the show after the shooting. And they have a ball ridiculing Sargon for being such a smug pinhead.

It's definitely a no holes barred type of radio show.

here's the issue. there are "normal behaviors" that women are uncomfortable with, and which leads some women to feel pressured into giving consent, sometimes for their own safety.

You're still conflating them. Persuasion, seduction =/= coercion. Come-ons and sexual temptation by their very nature involve some amount of pressure. Attempting to persuade is pressure by definition but there's hardly anything wrong with persuasion.

I just realized that the "feel pressured" rhetoric sounds just like the anti-drug campaigns where any person who decided to try something was described as being "pressured into it" and a victim of "peer pressure". The main gist was if you tried something you were pressured into it and a victim. The rhetoric's been repackaged for a different moral panic.

"Sexual misconduct" can mean anything from rape to merely being forward and flirtatious, the latter which vilifies normal behavior. It's a nebulous bullshit term.
